Lionel Barrymore as Scroge brought to you by Campbell's playhouse and with Orson Wells and the Mercury theater on the air Players.
Since this is a radio play from a radio show I would compare it to any classic radio shows and this is one that sticks out as a top Favorite and at one time in American History it was an Icon for every Christmas season. This is a great way to help you enjoy your Holiday season and Classic radio.
Like always when Lionel Barrymore as Scroge waked up and see's it's still Christmas day and thus he changes for the good old world
The production value that Orson Wells always used when doing anything he did. It gave life to a Dickens Classic story.
Orson Wells would always say Radio is an amazing Media as it's Theater of the Mind. This like all Classic radio shows is for sure Theater of the Mind.
The way Mark Greaney told this story buy taking a Character like Dominic Caruso and expanding on what he has been changing into then adding more characters to help fill the story just like Tom would do
The way the ending shaped up, it was such a heart pounding thrill ride
Scott was very good, I liked Lou Diamond from the last few better, but Scott has done a few earlier Clancy Novels and thus he is very good at what he does and he did bring some characters to life
You laughed in parts with the wit of Dom and Adara Sherman. The book was driven like a thriller should be. Well thought out and full of great characters.
This will set up for the next Campus novel and the whole team. I can't wait for that one. This book the first where Mark Greaney was solo and he hit it out of the park into the street. I loved the ending, I loved the building the story up and I loved seeing a fun character like Dominic Caruso grow and his value to the Campus just grew even deeper. Adara Sherman having a bigger part was very nice too almost wished we could have a novel with her she seems like she can take care of herself very well too.
They are the same I never like to compare as they are both great in there own forms.
The whole will Robie series which we now have 3, but also the McBride series by Andrew Peterson I would say is also very good
I have and I love them, and in this series they are at there best. I loved the voice and tone Orlagh gave Julie the 14 year old girl that witnesses here parents being killed and flees for her life. Ron does an amazing Will Robie.
I would say there were a few parts, I think Will helping Julie and some of the moments he has with here as she is trying to understand how her life was forever changed and Will trying to figure out the same in his own
A great Series by by David Baldacci Narrated by Ron McLarty , Orlagh Cassidy. Will Robie series is a must for action and thriller lovers a like
David Baldacci and the way the man can write will leave you on the edge of your sit, add to it Ron McLarty , Orlagh Cassidy giving it great life.
Yes it did, The way both the main Will Robie character and Jessica Reel move and the thought process with the amazing action sequences
I loved them all, I guess if i had to choose I would pick the main Characters both Will Robie and Jessica Reel
YES! I did not I repeat did not want to stop.
David Baldacci is a great and gifted Writer and this story moves as does the series. Both Ron McLarty , Orlagh Cassidy give this story so much real life feel you will love it
Yes I would and the reason why is simple this book will take you into history in a great fun way that will help teach kids and adults by taking them back to when history was happening. A fresh fun way to show us what history is all about.
Liberty and Rush Revere, I just loved the humor they shared between them and how funny this talking horse named liberty is. A great teaching method
I think when the four of them landed at the first thanksgiving and it helps show you what it was really all about.
I couldn't believe how great this was. Rush did an amazing job bringing History to life.
it doesn't matter if you love or hate Rush with this book it's all about teaching History to kids and adults alike in a fun fresh way. A wise cracking Horse named liberty, a history teacher named Rush Revere and dressed for the part, and a classroom with a girl named freedom. I wished the story could have went on and on right now it was so fun.
No matter your choice this is a great work of art from the Late great Tom Clancy
Any of Tom Clancy's John Ryan series even tho this is a stand alone book from the late great Tom Clancy
I can't pick just one, I loved the entire story and Micheal Prichard always does a great job telling the story. You will love How Micheal Prichard reads this great story filled with action from the start to the end. So much suspense and Drama at every turn as only the Late Tom Clancy could do. A must listen
Will the world end? At the Height of the cold war, The red storm rises and wwIII begins
It's the mid 1980's the cold war is at it's height and the USSR unleash World war 3 in this stand alone masterpiece by the Late Great master of Military and political suspense Tom Clancy will the world end before your ears? A must listen
I think both are timeless however with Anne Hathaway telling the story it give this classic yet another new look to it. Anne is an amazing story teller and gives this story such life.
I just love how simple the story is and how this classic just takes you away from your life into another world at another time.
Anne was Amazing and gives this classic such life. A wonderful voice with and a great storyteller
Yes, and all thanks to both the timeless story it is and Anne preforming it.
Know matter how many times you have read it or have seen it, this version will give it new life with the great Anne Hathaway.
Yes I will listen to it again and read it as well all do to Michael Connelly and the way he writes. Plus Peter Giles gives Mickey Haller a great voice
I notice with Michael Connelly things are never they way you think they are going to be the way he writes seems to keep me on the edge of my seat all the time.
Yes Peter has done other Michael Connelly books and has done an amazing job on all of them.
Sometimes Justice comes at the right time
Michael Connelly books I hope all will read or listen to. The way he can write a story will have you hooked and wanting more and more and they are never the way you think they are. Love harry and Mikey and the gang.
Both are wonderful as Tom Clancy is the master of great story telling and this being the first
in the long line of jack ryan books is right at the top if not the top.
any and all of the jack ryan books, or john clark books. Tom clancy can sure tell a story
that keeps you wanting more and more. You have to love Jack Ryan and the whole team
Scott did a good job with all of them
Yes, but every Clancy book is like that for me
Tom Clancy introduces us to Jack Ryan and a few other greats in this the first in the series book. A must for everyone!
Brad Thor has a very solid writing style and that makes for a fast moving and very detailed and fun story
Scot harvath for how brad gave him so much wit and quick thinking makes for a great character
Very good indeed he brings life to the story and you want to listen to it
Scot is coming for you
not as good as the first but still a very good listen and book
I never dear take on James Patterson. This was the first and all series have to start somewhere
Alex Cross of course the way he is written and more so in the other books in this series. His thinking and his mind really add so much to this series
Charlie did a good job with all of them, I was very happy in the way he told the story
Yes as you have to start a series and you need to hear or read them all.
I thought this was the weakest Alex Cross book but it is a must as it is the first in the series and every series have has to start some where
