Lionel Barrymore as Scroge brought to you by Campbell's playhouse and with Orson Wells and the Mercury theater on the air Players.
Since this is a radio play from a radio show I would compare it to any classic radio shows and this is one that sticks out as a top Favorite and at one time in American History it was an Icon for every Christmas season. This is a great way to help you enjoy your Holiday season and Classic radio.
Like always when Lionel Barrymore as Scroge waked up and see's it's still Christmas day and thus he changes for the good old world
The production value that Orson Wells always used when doing anything he did. It gave life to a Dickens Classic story.
Orson Wells would always say Radio is an amazing Media as it's Theater of the Mind. This like all Classic radio shows is for sure Theater of the Mind.
I think they are equally a good
It was a fresh way of looking at the truth of the gospels and I found it helped me in reaffirming my faith in GOD and Jesus Christ
No I haven't but I would. Walter Dixon did an amazing job telling Davids story. I really enjoyed the way he reads the story
Just made me want to thank GOD for all I have today
I have listened to this book a few times and have listened to parts of it over and over. It's very detailed and very thought provoking
The way Glenn and his team are able to shed insight on stories you thought you knew, and stories you never knew.
extraordinary real stories of History brought to Life. So many stories you thought you may have known, and some I never knew.
A marvelous story teller, he took Glenn becks words and gave life to them. Very good job at this. I hope Jeremy gets to do many many more in this series.
Ponzi,Armstrong,Disney,Desi and Lucille,Turing,Jobs,Hiss. Stories you thought you knew, now find out what you didn't. Dreamers and deceivers
The rerun, TV Filming, Theme park??? Numbers and a machine??? an apple??? FM radio??? nothing but your money??? Great stories in a great book by a great man and story teller
I Think they are both wonderful. The print version has beautiful art work kids would have to love. The audio version is wonderful as Rush himself tells you his story . Rush is one of the greatest broadcasters of all time agree or disagree the man knows speech.
When Cam figures out why his father is away and fighting for our country and for our freedoms and then when he gets to tell his dad just that with his mom.
The way Rush can use words and how he can tell a story will make you want to listen to this story in away only Rush can tell it.
Rush Rush Rush to History with Liberty,Cam, Tommy, Freedom and Rush Revere
A fun way for kids to understand real American history stories and a fun way for all ages to rediscover what America is all about
Yes, This Bosch Mystery the Burning room is right up there with the classic Bosch stories. Harry is running out of time to be forced into leaving the LAPD and he is teamed with a great new fresh rookie female partner with an active case that ties to his partners past.
Harry being Harry and helping out his new partner Detective Lucia Soto in so many ways. The thought process Micheal brings to his characters and to Harry is just a masterpiece.
Titus is now Bosch and You can tell how wonderful and gifted this man is. You can see Titus as Harry Bosch on Amazon in Bosch the series. Titus gave so much life to his story telling and he did a wonderful job with all the characters. I could not stop listening to how he read this spectacular Bosch mystery. You felt like Titus was really Bosch.
Just made me want more and more it was that good. I wasn't a fan of the last Bosch book the black box but The Burning room is right up there with the best Bosch books of all time from the master of his craft Micheal Connelly.
Bosch and Soto working two cases, a veteran LAPD with about a year left and a fresh young female rookie Detective and how one case becomes two and how it is linked to the new Detectives past. Soto and Bosch have more in common then one would think.
I loved the story, I loved the movement the story had to it. It wasn't action filled by any means. But it was a great story and the way it was told
The ending, I think the way it ended I liked that a lot. I won't talk about it as I don't wish to ruin the ending of a good book and great story for anyone
I liked how he read the Characters, I think he did a great job telling us a story and he helped give that story life.
Before there was a CIA....The birth of a CIA
Very solid story on the birth of what would be the CIA
Nathan and Harv are such a great characters. The story telling is amazing and the action is heart pounding
The whole series is a must, Andrew Peterson can write and Dick Hill is a master of his craft.
If you like Tom Clancy's campus, or Jack Ryan you will enjoy this. if you like David Baldacci Robie series again you will like this.
Can't pick just one so i will say the Comradery of nathan and Harv. The thrilling writing will have you wanting more and more
YES! I could not stop reading this series, and then I could not stop listening to this whole series. Thrilling story telling
Like I said Action, it has that, Adventure it has that, Thriller hell yes. Characters it has that. Listen or read this whole series you will enjoy it
The way the story told us some of the real facts about this really Tragic story of one of Americans Greatest Generals.
The Whole Killing series, Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard have brought History to life in ways others have failed to do so. From Killing Lincoln which is an amazing work, to Killing Kennedy which again is truly amazing work. Killing Jesus can touch your soul all of these are great works must reads, must listens for sure. This series isn't just about the person it's about the Time that person lived and the people around them and alive at the time. In Killing Patton you will hear about Hitler, Stalin, Churchill, Eisenhower and amazing hero's from a PFC to the many men that gave there freedom so we all have ours. Truly amazing stories inside this story
Bill has a great way of telling you a story, with this he's telling you history and thus giving it life.Making it very good indeed
I love that came across that Patton had for his country, for his men.
Highly recommend the whole Killing series. I highly recommend Killing Patton as this is a story that is never really talked about or has never really been told in this way.
The way Mark Greaney told this story buy taking a Character like Dominic Caruso and expanding on what he has been changing into then adding more characters to help fill the story just like Tom would do
The way the ending shaped up, it was such a heart pounding thrill ride
Scott was very good, I liked Lou Diamond from the last few better, but Scott has done a few earlier Clancy Novels and thus he is very good at what he does and he did bring some characters to life
You laughed in parts with the wit of Dom and Adara Sherman. The book was driven like a thriller should be. Well thought out and full of great characters.
This will set up for the next Campus novel and the whole team. I can't wait for that one. This book the first where Mark Greaney was solo and he hit it out of the park into the street. I loved the ending, I loved the building the story up and I loved seeing a fun character like Dominic Caruso grow and his value to the Campus just grew even deeper. Adara Sherman having a bigger part was very nice too almost wished we could have a novel with her she seems like she can take care of herself very well too.
They are the same I never like to compare as they are both great in there own forms.
The whole will Robie series which we now have 3, but also the McBride series by Andrew Peterson I would say is also very good
I have and I love them, and in this series they are at there best. I loved the voice and tone Orlagh gave Julie the 14 year old girl that witnesses here parents being killed and flees for her life. Ron does an amazing Will Robie.
I would say there were a few parts, I think Will helping Julie and some of the moments he has with here as she is trying to understand how her life was forever changed and Will trying to figure out the same in his own
A great Series by by David Baldacci Narrated by Ron McLarty , Orlagh Cassidy. Will Robie series is a must for action and thriller lovers a like
David Baldacci and the way the man can write will leave you on the edge of your sit, add to it Ron McLarty , Orlagh Cassidy giving it great life.
Yes it did, The way both the main Will Robie character and Jessica Reel move and the thought process with the amazing action sequences
I loved them all, I guess if i had to choose I would pick the main Characters both Will Robie and Jessica Reel
YES! I did not I repeat did not want to stop.
David Baldacci is a great and gifted Writer and this story moves as does the series. Both Ron McLarty , Orlagh Cassidy give this story so much real life feel you will love it
