Would you consider the audio edition of The Hunt for Red October to be better than the print version?

I would say there both equally great. No matter which you rather your still getting Tom Clancy and the man is a true master of his craft. I would say The Audio version for me is very good. As the great Orson Wells once said about radio, I say can apply to Audio books. "Theater of the Mind" is what Audio books are for me, a great story teller can help bring a story from a story teller to life right to you as you hang on his or her words. This book is done beautifully.

What other book might you compare The Hunt for Red October to and why?

I think you can Compare this to any of Tom Clancy's works. Tom's writing style is one of a kind and always has you on the edge of your seat.

Have you listened to any of J. Charles’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I don't think I have but He does a great and amazing job. I would highly recommend J. Charles to anyone. Very well done, Thank you J.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Just made me want more. A wonderful Book and great story.

    Any additional comments?

Tom Clancy and his Ryan series is one of these best if not the best series ever written. I recommend all of this series to anyone and everyone.

Amanda Knox spent four years in a foreign prison for a crime she did not commit. In the fall of 2007, the 20-year-old college coed left Seattle to study abroad in Italy, but her life was shattered when her roommate was murdered in their apartment. After a controversial trial, Amanda was convicted and imprisoned. But in 2011, an appeals court overturned the decision and vacated the murder charge. Free at last, she returned home to the U.S., where she has remained silent, until now.

Would you listen to Waiting to Be Heard again? Why?

Yes and I have, it is a very sad event that took the life of an innocent young women from the UK and sent 2 what I believe are innocent people to prison for years well allowing the person that seems to have had done this or took part in it have a reduced sentence.

What other book might you compare Waiting to Be Heard to and why?

    Sad true Crime stories

Which character – as performed by Amanda Knox – was your favorite?

Amanda Know just telling her story in her words and her voice of these very tragic events which left a young women murdered

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I just can't understand how the Italian legal authorities seem to have made so many mistakes and fixated on two people that so many other experts say they could not have done what the Italian legal authorities claim and how they seem to have mislead the courts and the public with the lack of real hard evidence according to FBI and crime scene experts.

    Any additional comments?

There are many things that will make you scratch your head on how Amanda and her then BF acted. But keep in mind she was a 20 year old from America in another country and she acted like a 20 year old. I think that alone made the Italian legal authorities look at her
with blinders on and they forgot to allow the evidence to speak to them and not them to
what they wanted the evidence to be. Yes Amanda should have acted different, but everyone acts different when events rock there world when there so young. I wish the Italian legal authorities would have or would focus on the real victim the young women from the UK that was Murdered as that is the most tragic event of this story a family lost a daughter, sister and a friend and I do not think they have had justice for that loss. That's where my thoughts and Prayers are with them and may God Be with them and Bless them.

at first I thought he sounded like a computer voice mail but that soon passed and I think he is one of the best story tellers to date. The way he does the characters and how he can hold you into the story is very good

With a cast of characters that wouldnt be out of place in a Victorian novel, Chocolate Wars tells the story of the great chocolatier dynasties, through the prism of the Cadburys. Chocolate was consumed unrefined and unprocessed as a rather bitter, fatty drink for the wealthy elite until the late 19th century, when the Swiss discovered a way to blend it with milk and unleashed a product that would conquer every market in the world.

Would you listen to Chocolate Wars again? Why?

I have listened to this book more then any other book in my life. I am a chocolate lover and history buff and this book has so much to it and all told from and by a Cadbury. Deborah Cadbury did such an amazing job on this book. No only will it give you the history of chocolate from the start of cadbury it brings you right up to date to when cadury was sold to Kraft. So much history and such a well thought out book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

all of them as this is a history of the chocolate world and the industry so many of us love.

What does Deborah Cadbury bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Yes, because unlike so many other audible books this one was written and is being told you by a Cadbury. Deborah also has an amazing voice and tells you not only her families history but her countries history from the start of the cocoa bean in the UK to the land of chocolate in Swiss and across the Pond to chocolate town and the from Chicago to NJ and the Mars family to the company that would take her families business away Kraft.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Chocolate wars history of an Industry

    Any additional comments?

Even for some strange reason your not a chocolate lover but want to know some if the vast history of the UK or the Mars family or Milton Hershey or even Industry as a whole you will love this book. Plus Deborah has an amazing British Voice with such passion on this subject you will love this book. This is my go to book when I am in between things to listen to. Just love it

Would you consider the audio edition of Fifty Shades Freed to be better than the print version?

Yes and just because of Becca Battoe. This series by E L James was ok, yep just OK. The first book was very good but then it started to fall apart, Other then Becca Battoe who gave the limp writing life and still made you want to listen. I never would have read it after the half way through the second book in the series. It should have just ended at book one.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

    YES!

Which character – as performed by Becca Battoe – was your favorite?

I would say the two mains, Steele and Grey but Becca did a great job with them all. Hope she does many more books.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The end, I was so happy it was finally over. I did enjoy the red room and the way Becca read it.

What made the experience of listening to A Christmas Carol [Radio Spirits Version] (Dramatized) the most enjoyable?

Lionel Barrymore as Scroge brought to you by Campbell's playhouse and with Orson Wells and the Mercury theater on the air Players.

What other book might you compare A Christmas Carol [Radio Spirits Version] (Dramatized) to and why?

Since this is a radio play from a radio show I would compare it to any classic radio shows and this is one that sticks out as a top Favorite and at one time in American History it was an Icon for every Christmas season. This is a great way to help you enjoy your Holiday season and Classic radio.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Like always when Lionel Barrymore as Scroge waked up and see's it's still Christmas day and thus he changes for the good old world

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The production value that Orson Wells always used when doing anything he did. It gave life to a Dickens Classic story.

    Any additional comments?

Orson Wells would always say Radio is an amazing Media as it's Theater of the Mind. This like all Classic radio shows is for sure Theater of the Mind.
