Maya is hiding in plain sight in London. The 26-year-old has abandoned the dangerous obligations pressed upon her by her father, and chosen instead to live a normal life. But Maya comes from a long line of people who call themselves Harlequins, a fierce group of warriors willing to sacrifice their lives to protect a select few known as Travelers.

"Good, but not as good as unabridged version."
    Overall

Interesting and thought provoking. Much better illumination in the unabridged, Scott Brick read version. Well thought out and good interview with the author at the end.

Over 4,000 students gathered at the University of Michigan to hear Republican Party candidate Ron Paul speak. As he began to address the topics of monetary policy and the coming depression, a chant rose from the crowd, "End the Fed! End the Fed!" As dollar bills were lit on fire and thrown into the night skies, it became clear that the real problem, one that nobody in the media was talking about, was the central bank-an unconstitutional entity and a political, economic, and moral disaster.

Jonnie says: "Very clear and understandable"
    "Eye opening information!!"
    Overall

This a book/historical lesson we should all hear. It affects all of our lives.
Let's hope it helps open the American eyes before our economy is dragged further down. The price for all these bailouts and takeovers needs to be addressed. This book will open your eyes like never before.

When Time and Again was published in 1970, The New York Times hailed it as "a fanciful novel that beautifully blends science fiction, nostalgia, and mystery." Millions of fans agreed, making the book a modern classic. Travel with author Jack Finney back to an incredible world where there are no such things as automobiles, airplanes, computers or television...back to January 1882.

William R. Creech says: "Good historical fiction"
    "Take this journey!!"
    Overall

If you give this book a chance you will be in for a ride you will never forget. It draws you in slowly and when you get hooked, you won't be able to stop. This story has twists and turns, romance, history and mystery all wrapped up in one. You will wonder how you could not have heard about it before. You will always see a bit of the "Old New York" when you think about Manhattan.
