Nice surprise as didnt expect it to be this. incredibly enjoyable read, love the character, the plot, the story and the narrator. Excellent in my view - all round! Definitely a JR Rain fan and cant wait till the 5th installment!

Fantastic narrator1 The story line is fantastic but may take a little time to get your head around it but is well worth the minor effort to do so. Is great plot, background environment and the characters are complex, with great humour, great personality and interactions. The dynamic between them all keeps it very interesting.

Not sure if there is one quite like it but i have been reading Faith Hunter and there are some similarities with the humour and the tough arse women character - LOVE IT!!

Her tone, infliction is Kate Daniels.. She is fantastic. Adds a huge amount of depth and character to the book.

Yes if you had read the first one but hard going due to the ongoing drama after drama and i caught myself rolling my eyes and fast forwarding only to do so again. This got really boring as you just wanted resolution and the story to pick up not another drama to start

Great story line, great characters - ruined by the monotony of every turn creating more and more drama which made it feel so negative and never ending. I fast forwarded many times and still would get to a bit and do it again as it just went on and one. I nearly stopped listening on numerous occasions just as so sick of the ongoing story and no resolution. Great book but couldve been halved and been better and less dribbly. Looking forward to next book but hope like heck it doesn't get lost like this one

Definitely, easy read and sucks you right in. Strong goresou woman character who kicks butt and all the series has great story lines - I am now on Book 4 and devastated there are no more after that.

All the characters and thei history and myth behind them and Jane Yellowrock is a fantastic main. You fall in love with Beast and together Jane and Beast are a amazing duo.

Definitely. Great story line, great characters, humour. Love the characters and the way the author has incorporated modern life and laso mythology. I initially thought it was going to be too detailed as early on there is detailed explanation for things, but soon forgot about this and got engrossed in story and didn't notice this again.
Very clever and very addictive. I fall in love with Oberon and couldn't wait for next book.

I have recently been reading Jeanne Stein's series and think these are slightly similar in regards to weaving different fantasy characters together, however Kevin Hearne has a broader focus given the mythology and history he explores/includes.

Oberon! i love his wit and humour and the way he talks. Is fabulous. Narrator is brilliant.

I have listened to all three books in this series now and was devastated when the last one ended. Can not wait until Tricked so the saga continues. Definitely recommend this series as a brilliant listen, great escapism and educating and entertaining view of druidsm and the old world.

The story line, the way it gripped you and them as you read the more revealed of what things were and why.. found it all very fascinating and gripping
