I have, and I love the series.
Troy rising, by John Ringo, however Larry Niven is a slightly better writer.Mr Niven can write Fantasy as well as Science fiction, he is just one of the great ones.
The emotions, and the feelings of the charactors.
Yes but it is just too long for that.
I give Mr. Niven a 97 out of 100 on this one, but I didn't like the incarnation of teela brown, but that is my only complaint. Other than that it was a wonderful journey I will love to take again, again.I didn't have a problem with the sex in the book, I thought it was appropriate, and important to the story. I also loved the intro by Larry Niven, "The ring world is unstable!"
The chronology, the history, the writers story, which was such a fantastic adventure in bravery.
The history of Robert E. Howard in his Conan series books, just simply Fascinating, as this was!
What a Beautiful and fantastic presence he lends to this work! I just remember him being this silly comedian on that sit com years ago! But he is like a bloody Orson Wells in this narration! Loved it! Keep up the good work Bronson!
The Fact that one of my literary hero's had to work, so................so hard as a child, "the worker beast" was particularly touching.
First rate! Will listen to it again, and again through out the years! Thank you audible!
The humor, the characters, the story, the actors are Great!
All the ways Sultan tries to kill our hero's, yet does not succeed, at least not yet.
FANTASTIC ACTORS! First rate production! Love, Love, Love every fricken minute of it!
Made me laugh, I love the villain Sultan, but he is a mighty Jerk!
Love the series!
Love Stefan Rudnicki, great narrator, but Michael Flynn, this is the second book I've gotten from him and it is mediocre at best. Little dialogue, weak story, mediocre science. I usually support my Irish Brothers, however, this dude just is not that good. I am a Science fiction writer, and this guy does a lot of things that are just not that entertaining.
Oh....................I don't know, put in more dialogue, used words that did not smack of amateurism. Maybe, if he had actual good science to back up the scenes in the book. I am not impressed at all, he writes like Edgar Rice Boroughs, all description and little dialogue to move the story along. Crap I'm a better writer than he is, and that is not saying much.
Mr. Rudnicki is a master, I have heard him on most of Ben Bova's work, "The Planet series, etc. I enjoy Bova's work immensely, however Bova is not quite Heinlein, and Flynn is about half as good Bova, and that is being generous! I wish I could give Mr. Flynn a better review. Read the first chapter of James Joyce's Ulysses, and you will see what a GREAT Irish writer can do!
No, I am deeply saddened to say I wish that it were, I will have my priest say a prayer for poor Mr. Flynn.
I don't know what the bloody problem with My. Flynn is but, I wish he were better. I had a bad time with his other works too.
Meeting the Martians
Ice skating on Mars.
I just love the full cast audio, and Robert A. Heinlien are the Best!
Sure, I already have, 3 times.
Interesting stories from the pulp era, some racism towards Asians, blacks, and in the last story towards Irish men in the movie business, who everyone knows is populated by people of the Jewish persuasion.
The horse winning and the movie business, from the Auto-magic horse.
Stories from the far edges of the universe to the your own backyard.
Out of 100 is is in the top ten.
Cree lauren and his dealing with the Slavers
that would give away the ending
I liked It, L. Ron Hubbard is a great writer, and the Pulp stuff is fantastic! Nothing but Good Clean fun!
top ten percent, fantastic cast, and good rendition! Just as good as the full family cast used to be on the Heinlein books before they were discontinued.
the streets of Casa blanca
Just fantastic stories of adventure by Mr. Hubbard.
Great Adventure story!
The adventure elements, its just like I remember it, when I read it as a kid.
The adventure, the story, and the ending.
Traveling through space and not aging, the esprit de corp of the navigation officers.
Great voices, and characters, wonderful cast!
The first time he came back to earth, Gand the changes in civilization.
Great book, I can see where Robert Heinlien learned his craft, since Hubbard was his mentor.
I loved the stories, I can see where Robert A. Heinlien, learned how to write this stuff!
Great Science fiction, from a guy who was beyond mastery, I don't know very much about Scientolgy, but this work is first rate, as good as Robert E. Howard, in language and scope of wonderful ideas! No way is it dated! Just Great!
Fantastic narration, from true proffessionals and powerful actors.
I like them all!
A wonder for the sence's, a factor of 100,000!
