Cleary, North Carolina, is a sleepy mountain town, the kind of place where criminal activity is usually limited to parking violations. Not so, lately. Four women have disappeared from Cleary over the past two years. And there's always a blue ribbon left near the spot where each of the women was last seen. There are no bodies, no other clues, and no suspicion as to who their abductor might be. And now, another woman has disappeared without a trace.

Susan says: "I'd have peeked at the ending ..."

I don't usually take the time to write reviews but in this case I hope to save you from wasting your credit like I did. This may be a great read, but it is a terrible listen! Stephen Lang can not do voices. He is most irritating. I suffered through two hours before I had to chalk this one up to a loss. His idea of a southern accent is unbelivable, he reads the female lead like she is an airhead and he sometimes forgets which characters he has assigned which voice. He ruined this book for me. He is so bad that I will always be checking future purchases to make sure he is not narrating. If I had his number, I'd tell him he owes me an audio book!

Fifteen-year-old Christopher Boone has Asperger's Syndrome, a condition similar to autism. He doesn't like to be touched or meet new people, he cannot make small talk, and he hates the colors brown and yellow. He is a math whiz with a very logical brain who loves solving puzzles that have definite answers.

One of my all time favorites! Great story, super narration. Couldn't put it down.
