It is a gripping plot, although like the other books in this series, the writing is simplistic and the dialogue cheesy.
No. The diction is quite poor, and the only way I can understand is to turn the volume way up, and then I just get a headache. There was a particular point in the book where the letters "M-M-E" were said/spelled out, but all I heard was "N-N-E", so I was pretty confused for a good bit. It kind of sounds like he has a mouth full of cotton balls, but maybe it's just me....tho I've never experienced this with other narrators.
