    We have read these books at home but my daughter loves listening to them again and again while in the car or at the store. Sometimes she follows along in the book and they have her enthralled.

    Even if I weren't a runner I would have enjoyed this book. I really liked the background of how he got into ultras and being vegan. And the recipes at the end were an added bonus that I have been adding to my own menus at home.

    This was a wonderful story. I loved the way it jumped from past and present. I work with the elderly and I thought the portrayal of him in the present was fantastic. The love story was strong with out being gushy.

    Sometimes Jennifer Weiner's characters pick on themselves a little too much but they are SO real. This story got to me emotionally and had even my husband laughing when he heard snipets of it. Listening to stories like these have my work day flying by.
    Olivia Thirlby's narration was great. She seemed to really get how the characters were feeling.

    What made the experience of listening to Bossypants the most enjoyable?

    Having the book read by the author allows it to be enjoyed the way that they intended it to be. I love hearing it in her voice so that the tone comes across perfectly.

    Tina Fey is a wonderful woman and this book made me laugh out loud several times. It is something I will go back and listen to again... and again.

    At Mile 81 on the Maine turnpike is a boarded up rest stop, a place where high school kids drink and get into the kind of trouble high school kids have always gotten into. Pete, armed only with the magnifying glass he got for his 10th birthday, finds a discarded bottle of vodka in the boarded up burger shack and drinks enough to pass out.

    If you could sum up Mile 81 in three words, what would they be?

    This was classic Stephen King. Detailed so that you are immersed in the story but to the point. The end of The Dune was great!
