Within the pages of very rare books, some centuries old, lie the secrets of the paranormal. Abby Radwell’s unusual psychic talent has made her an expert in such volumes - and sometimes taken her into dangerous territory. After a deadly incident in the private library of an obsessive collector, Abby receives a blackmail threat, and rumors swirl that an old alchemical text known as The Key has reappeared on the black market.

Would you listen to Copper Beach again? Why?

I generally do not listen to books more than once but on this occasion I would consider it as I did enjoy the story line.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narration was better than a lot of book I listen to and did not detract from the listening pleasure.

    Any additional comments?

I recommend Copper Beach to those of you who like me enjoy a good book with a fantasy story line. I am currently reading the second book in this series and look forward to more from this author

Mad Women is a tell-all account of life in the New York advertising world of the 1960s and '70s from Jane Maas, a female copywriter who succeeded in the primarily male environment portrayed by the hit TV show Mad Men. Fans of the show are dying to know how accurate it is: did people really have that much sex in the office? Were there really three-martini lunches? Were women really second-class citizens? Jane Maas says the answer to all three questions is unequivocally yes....

Where does Mad Women rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I was interested in what this could be about and was pleasantly pleased to read a more real version of how it was for women during the 60's on Madison Ave. Well written and a good story line. A light easy read.

Did Coleen Marlo do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

I thought she did a great job helping you to understand each character

Georgie York, once the costar of America's favorite television sitcom, has been publicly abandoned by her famous husband, her film career has tanked, her father is driving her crazy, and her public image as a spunky heroine is taking a serious beating. What should a down-on-her-luck actress do?

The book started slowly but after a while I was sucked into the story. This is a very light and airy story would be perfect for a vacation or trip where you want to relax with a good book.

Here is a world where men and dragons coexist amid political intrigue and dark magic, where the uneasy balance of power between the two is on the verge of becoming undone, threatening to unleash waves of destruction that will pit humans against humans as well as dragons against men for the domination of the world. Humanity's very survival is at risk.

The Mistress of Dragons is fun, interesting, dramatic and held my attention and challenged my imagination. I am looking forward to the next of the trilogy.
