Steve Jobs is not a nice guy. But he's fascinating! This is a well written and well read account. I consider it a business book as well as a bio because there really is much we can learn, both about what to do, and what not to do, in tech business. Some have said they didn't like the narration but I did. My only issue is that some of the stories are a bit repetitive, primarily because Jobs approached everything he did the same way. It's long, but a good read.
there were some good points though I think much of the advice here is fairly obvious. definitely worth the read.
I thought the book would be more about parallels with European or English history. There was some of that but it was more about the specific characters in Game of Thrones. It did help with my understanding of the series.
This is my first book by Dean Koontz. I really enjoyed the story and particularly enjoyed the character development.
Anne Hathaway does a fantastic job. a classic if not dated story. Definitely different than the movie
sometimes an author narrating works, sometimes not so much. But this is still a classic and a must - read. good interview with Bradbury at the end.
Dan Brown really connects on so many levels. This is another great story with intellectual, spiritual and factual elements. The narrator does a great job with the cast of characters.
A bit simplistic at times but overall a good read. I think there are some ideas that I can put into use
This book was really well put together and the narration enhanced the story. A great vision of what the early stages of a transition to a trans-human or post-human world might look like.
There is nothing negative to say about this book. It's compelling, funny and geeky right from the beginning. I can't even imagine how much research the author had to do to speak intelligently about the science. And the narrator nailed it.
The ending is in question the whole time. And even to the last sentence I wasn't sure if something would change.
The ingenuity and inventiveness the characters showed really made it a "page turner".
This was an interesting read, but a rare case where the movie is much better than the book. There was some interesting background but not enough focus on the core of the story.
