"Meh. couldn't finish"
Sappy, no plot, whiny characters, just stupid.

"Enchanting"

Micahel Dean
"Don't be scared by its "horror" genre--"
Yes, it was so chock full of good plot I know I missed some things!
Tim--the mystery of him was never revealed
spoiler....won't say!
don't be scared by the genre, I enjoyed this book thoroughly and I don't normally read the horror genre. I think it appeals to everyone.
"zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"
Good God this is tedious. Is it really necessary to describe in painstakingly detail actions such as taking cookies out of the oven, or putting a car into drive? Nine chapters into it and NOTHING has happened. I'm bored out of my skull and moving on.
"Boring Binchy"
there was absolutely no plot to this book whatsoever--just a bunch of random characters' stories woven around a thin location. Long, rambling stories that lead you no where. Very disjointed, I got confused in the middle of the novel when it diverts to some hackneyed story about a priest. All of the characters' issues wrap up too neatly and it makes Dublin look like Hayseed, Iowa. If I was Irish, I'd be a bit offended by this quaint village show she puts on. I liked her other novels but this one just DRAGGED.
"Not even going to finish it"
I didn't think it was possible to write a book with NO plot whatsoever but here it is. AWFUL book, annoying characters, terrible dialog, stupid story. Even allowing for what it is, it's bad. Don't waste your credits like I did.
"Preachy"
I mostly enjoy this book but did not appreciate the Christian morality undertones. Just beware if that's not what you are looking for. Otherwise, it is fun to listen to.
"zzzzzzzzz"
Dear God this book is boring. I'm only at chapter 17 and there is nothing happening thus far. Don't waste your time.
"just eh"
It was entertaining but the ending left me disappointed, and the title doesn't match the book at all! Did anyone else notice that? It's just ok.
"I loved it"
The narration was enjoyable, the story was fun, my only complaint was that it wasn't longer. I recommend.
