You open your eyes for what you know is not the first time and you remember nothing. You find out that a catastrophic event known as the Kollaps has destroyed life as we know it. Something crucial has been stolen - but under no circumstances can you know what or why. You’ve got to get it back or something bad is going to happen. And you’ve got to get it back fast, so they can freeze you again before your own time runs out. Paralyzed from the waist down, you’re being carried around on the backs of two men who don’t seem anything like you at all.

Wish it was longer for story details, but at the same time it stands well on its own. Going to test out more of the writers work.

Survivors is the all-new soul-shattering climax to the postapocalyptic trilogy, featuring a deadly virus, military action, global devastation - and zombies. A lot can change in three months: Wars can be decided, nations can be forged...or entire species can be brought to the brink of annihilation. The Morningstar Virus, an incredibly virulent disease, has swept the face of the planet, infecting billions. The infected hosts rampage, attacking anything that remains uninfected.

Where does Survivors rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?

I thought it was really good. I would rate it as one of my top favorite series.

What does Oliver Wyman bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?

Oliver Wyman is an excellent narrator. I'm beginning to choose books to read based on him rather than the writer. He brings life to the story.

    Any additional comments?

I've seen many negative comments. Yes, tough things happen in this book and yes, things go down really quick. But when you consider that another writer had to finish the book, I thought it was amazing. I loved the characters. I thought the writer did an excellent job and the narrator brought life to this story. After finishing this book, I'm going to start the series over again to get to know the characters all over again. Great job. Thank you!

The Talbots are evacuating their home amidst a zombie apocalypse. Mankind is on the edge of extinction as a new dominant, mindless opponent scours the landscape in search of food, which just so happens to be noninfected humans. As they travel across the countryside they soon learn that there are more than just zombies to be fearful of....

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Less running. Whole book is about running from one place to the next. Best parts are Mike's thoughts of his past. Could have stopped for more than a day to develop more situations.

What about Sean Runnette???s performance did you like?

    Narrator was excellent.

Did A Plague Upon Your Family inspire you to do anything?

Buy book 3. Hoping for more excitement. Want to learn more about what happens with the lovely Talbot family.

    Any additional comments?

Still a great book. Invested in the characters now.

When you have to kill the same terrorist twice in one week there’s either something wrong with your world or something wrong with your skills - and there’s nothing wrong with Joe Ledger’s skills. And that’s both a good and a bad thing. It’s good because he’s a Baltimore detective who has just been secretly recruited by the government to lead a new task force created to deal with the problems that Homeland Security can’t handle....

Eerie, dreamlike, set in a world that is weirdly related to our own, The Gunslinger introduces Roland Deschain of Gilead, of In-World that was, as he pursues his enigmatic antagonist to the mountains that separate the desert from the Western Sea in the first volume of The Dark Tower series. Roland, the last gunslinger, is a solitary figure, perhaps accursed, who with a strange single-mindedness traverses an exhausted, almost timeless landscape of good and evil.

    Roland, so genuine, so real.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    The beginning, the ending... Excellence!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes!

Stephen King is the master of his art and George Guidall is the master of his. Just let yourself go to this new world and enjoy.

Dark fantasy goes hardboiled in Book II of the hard-hitting Grimnoir Chronicles by the New York Times best-selling creator of Monster Hunter International. The Grimnoir Society’s mission is to protect people with magic, and they’ve done so—successfully and in secret—since the mysterious arrival of the Power in the 1850s, but when a magical assassin makes an attempt on the life of President Franklin Roosevelt, the crime is pinned on the Grimnoir.

This is the story of Michael Talbot, his family, and his friends: a band of ordinary people trying to get by in extraordinary times. When disaster strikes, Mike, a self-proclaimed survivalist, does his best to ensure the safety and security of those he cares for. Book one of the Zombie Fallout Trilogy follows our lead character at his self-deprecating, sarcastic best. What he encounters along the way leads him down a long dark road, always skirting the edge of insanity.

It was entertaining. Great first half, second half could have used more details. Items are left hanging that I thought should have been expanded. However, it could be made up for in the next book.
