A good start.
The telling of the old tribe stories.
I read the later books first so was used to a different and more entertaining narrator.
When our hero fell off his sobriety.
I think the author has matured with his main character and his story telling.
One of the best Si/Fi stories yet.
The little drone. Flir Imsol.
Yes, equally well done, love his reading of the Culture series.
The good vs evil concept.
The most creative and innovative authors in his genere.
Yes, I have read all of Joe's books, he always has a unique way of killing people.
Harry, of course! Like all of us, full of issues and troubles.
Pronounciations of the characters names.
Harry and Raquel not getting back together earlier.
I recommend anyone start with The Snowman but don't forget to read the Red Breast, it's the most complex of the five I have read.
The details of the story.
None I have read
A slower delivery
explaining the trajectory of the bullet and the horrible conditions the detainees suffered.
One of the most original works of Science Fiction I have read in many years. The level of detail and originality was extraordinary. Well worth the read. The narrator was also very good.
Very dark, very grim. Great storytelling and his usual fantastic writing style. Well worth the purchase.
A typically written Deaver novel, lots of twists and turns. A bit predictable but enjoyable read anyway.
Sad to hear this author is deceased, he was excellent with both this and The Girl Who Played with Fire. I hope you will carry the final episode in the trilogy.
An excellent presentation of a new idea in Science Fiction, well worth the read.
