Maybe with a warning!
Oh, my....60 stories...too many to list. There were a couple of stories that creeped me out so I fast forwarded through them.
Lucy does a great job with tone of the story and draws you into the stories!
No, I did it piece meal as they are separate stories it makes it easier to take breaks.
This book provides wide variety of erotica. Only get this if you are open-minded.
Deeper character developement. Too much time spent talking about "vegan/organic" food and environmentally friendly cars.....I was very disappointed and I struggled just to get to the 4th chapter..
I don't know if it would be possible.
The performance seemed to stiff and stuffy for what the characters were saying....Such as ...he said in a suprisingly casual tone....but she used a stuffy and haughty tone.
The plot was interesting but it seemed she took forever to get to it with all of the discussion of organic/vegetarian food.
Yes, so much ground is covered in this book. My mind still feels like I missed something.
I think the narrator for this book isn't as good as the person that did the first novel. She struggles with voice differentiation on the main characters.
The ending just made me flatly frustrated.....each novel the author lets you think the main characters get to be together....ah, but yet again NO! and the last book doesn't even come out until Sept. 2014! Disappointing.
Out of all of the books in the series. I would say this one by far has more almost erotica in it. I would caution parents of younger teens on this one. Read it first before you let your teen venture into this book.
I preferred the audio edition as the narrator paints a good picture of the story and surroundings.
Peeta - he is so caring of everyone
When Katniss takes care of Peeta in the cave. - Also, when the Capital takes Peeta away for surgery....you can tell that Katniss is not faking her feelings for him.
YES, made me cry with the deaths of the children.
Hard to believe this is a young adult novel. (mind you that 11-12 year olds are reading this. If you consider this for your kid, read (listen) same time they do so you can discuss it. Very moving topics for you and your kids.
Overall story I thought was well developed. The characters were wonderful.
The ending was shocking and upsetting!
The story really captured you. Thought that some concepts too mature for a Young Adult reader. Meaning that under 16 would not be a good fit, especially the books later in this series.
The narrator was great and the story was good too!
The level of character and story detail remind me of Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter Series. The story lines are not similar but the detail and characters are wonderful!
Anita and Jean Claude...wait that is two......she does a wonderful job with both!
I couldn't stop listening when I got of the treadmill had to sit on the couch and keep listening! Wonderful!
Love the characters....good development
Love the interactions between the main characters...very entertaining.
She did a great job differentiating characters. very talented lady!
The narrators voice inflections for different characters was very entertaining.
A mix of intrigue, vampire and action! Great combination! One reviewer said that this story was for teens....no way!!! The series has erotica in it....if you don't like sex, intrigue and vampire then stay away....and it is definitely not Buffy (I loved that show too!)
I enjoyed all of them. I personally enjoyed Tavia's rendition of Bones. I picture him to look like James Marsters from Buffy the Vampire Slayer tv series when he was blonde....but buffer!! Others that reviewed this book complained that it wasn't gentlemanly enough....Trust me Bones' background justifies the gritty british accent! I have listened to the entire series....she does Bones beautifully!
The narrator really pulled me into the story....I think she was able to make me laugh, cry and get ticked off at the right moments. Jeanine did a great job making the reader side with Cat in all ways!
Love Cat and Bones.....can't wait for more of this series!
The book is a nice short read...very descriptive but not at the same time..
Dissappointed with the narrator. She has no inflection, sounds like she is a "story time reader" for kids. My favorite is Kimberly Alexis...but I prefer Cynthia Halloway to Rey Colette...glad she only did one of Laurrel's books!
