Classic Poems for Boys comprises a delightfully varied set of over 20 poems for 5- to 10-year olds. From rousing favorites like Felicia Dorothea Hemans’ "Casabianca" and John Keats’ "A Song About Myself", to dreamy, thoughtful poems by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and Rudyard Kipling, this is a collection to be treasured.

My wife and I play lyrical poetry like this every night on an iPhone till we slumber. Better than any pill. And NOT cause it's boring. Far from it--it's hypnotic. Wonderfully read. Nice masculine poems that girls will also love.

Join the Army and See the Universe. That is the motto of The Third Space War, also known as The First Interstellar War, but most commonly as The Bug War. In one of Robert Heinlein's most controversial best sellers, a recruit of the future goes through the toughest boot camp in the universe - and into battle with the Terrain Mobile Infantry against mankind's most alarming enemy.

I'm a Heinlein fan, but this book wasn't as good as I remembered. Comes off as something of a sci-fi civics lesson. Too much of the always-heavy handed author intrusion making his political points. Its not offensive, as some reviewers seem to conceive, but it is nearly boring. The narrative is sparse, the lectures endless. Now, the production is bad; just bad. The voice is fine, but the very frequent editing and re-recording is painful to hear. The voice is professional, but the production quality is just terrible.

When Tiro, the confidential secretary (and slave) of a Roman senator, opens the door to a terrified stranger on a cold November morning, he sets in motion a chain of events that will eventually propel his master into one of the most suspenseful courtroom dramas in history.

    Story

This extremely well written and well narrated historical novel seemed light on history at first. I mean, how could the author (or anybody) know that much about the Roman Counsel Cicero? Well, thanks to Cicero being a blabbermouth, and thanks to his faithful slave inventing a huge working shorthand system, we know just about everything about Cicero, and so will you when you listen to this great work. Emotionally rich, lip smackingly satisfying. Makes me want to read more about the Roman Republic.
