As raging floodwaters engulf her Louisiana hometown, Nola Landry is stranded on high ground, the unwitting witness to the brutal murder of three fellow survivors. Finally rescued in the aftermath of the storm, no one is willing to believe a story as horrific as hers - until three FBI agents arrive on the scene...one of whom Nola knows very well. Tate Benton has been tracking the so-called Stormchaser serial killer for months, never expecting the trail might lead him home, or to the woman he cannot forget.

What would have made Going Once better?

    A different narrator

What was one of the most memorable moments of Going Once?

don't want to give away any spoilers.....

How did the narrator detract from the book?

She was horrible and ruined the book for me!

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I am a huge Sharon Sala fan, and I had no issues with the story or how it was written, I would recommend the e-book or paperback to anyone! I would NOT recommend the audible version as I could not stand the narrator

    Any additional comments?

please do not use that narrator again

Over the years, Donovan Kelly has fought relentlessly for justice, women and children always holding a special place in his heart. Working side by side with his brothers, Donovan has witnessed firsthand the toll it’s taken - physically, mentally, and emotionally - on his loved ones, and the innocent lives caught in the crossfire. What he never expects is for his next mission to happen right on his home turf - or for it to take a very personal turn.

    M. Davis says: "Big Disappointment..."
"Sorry Donovan but the other KGI stories are better"

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I would tone down Donovan's attitude a bit. He was so cool in other KGI books but in his own he was too focused on making the heroine and her siblings into being his family and less focused on seeing they had issues and to take things slowly. I also think the love and trust came way too early - especially from the little girl.

Has After the Storm turned you off from other books in this genre?

    Nope

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

    I like this reader

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    yes

    Any additional comments?

This book was worth a listen, if only to keep up with the Kelly family. I like the other books in the series better, and I am looking forward to more Kelly/KGI stories.

Gwendolyn Kidd has met the man of her dreams. He's hot, he's sexy, and what started as a no-names-exchanged night of passion has blossomed into a year and a half-long pleasure fest. Sure, it's a little strange that he only appears in her bed at night, but Gwen is so sure he's the one, she just can't turn him away…. Hawk Delgado knows more about Gwen than she could ever imagine. She's gorgeous, headstrong, and skittish about relationships. But Hawk is facing his own demons, demons that keep him from connecting with anyone.

Would you consider the audio edition of Mystery Man to be better than the print version?

Yes because of Kate Russell and her narration

What did you like best about this story?

So many things to like -- good plot, great characters

Have you listened to any of Kate Russell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, she narrated Wild Man (another book in this series) and I really enjoy her narration of both books. I look forward to listening to other books she narrates.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I really enjoyed the part where Gwen finds out what Hawk's name is. I also liked their 1st meeting in the daytime in Gwen's house. And of course loved how Hawk said "Babe"!

    Any additional comments?

Good book, great narration! Other books in the series are good too Wild Man, Law Man and Motorcycle Man.

High-powered businessman Cameron Shaw doesn't believe in love - until he falls head over heels for beautiful, passionate, and intensely private Martina. She's perfect in so many ways, immediately bonding with his little girl. Martina could be his future bride and a delightful stepmother...if only Cameron weren't blinded by his belief that Shelly, the gold-digging woman he's promised to marry, is pregnant with his child. After choosing Shelly over Marti at every turn, will he convince Marti she's his world and the only woman he wants?

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Well there is 7 hrs and 6 min of my life I can't get back.... what a waste of time listening to this horrible narrator!

Would have enjoyed the book by reading it myself on my kindle instead of listening to this horrible audio version!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Going Twice?

Hard to say as the narration was so crappy....

How could the performance have been better?

A different narrator! This person already butchered the previous book in this series, and now totally ruined this book for me as well. I hope and pray that when the 3rd book comes out A DIFFERENT NARRATOR will be used or I won't purchase it!

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yes, cause then I might will be able to see the story and not hear a piss-poor narration of it!

    Any additional comments?

Sharon Sala is an EXCELLENT writer, and it is a shame that Book1 (Going Once) and now book 2 Going Twice have been butchered and ruined by this horrible narrator!

For all Sharon Sala fans- skip this terrible audio version and read the paperback or kindle versions. MUCH BETTER that way!!!!

Zoe is used to taking care of herself and has long ago accepted that if anything bad was going to happen, it was going to happen to her. So when she loses her job over something most bosses would probably be happy with and her life starts going down hill from there she doesn't expect it to get any better. She certainly didn't expect any help from the loud jerk next door, but then again she has nothing to lose so puts her trust in him and hopes for the best.

What disappointed you about The Proposal?

did not like the hero - especially in the beginning of the book. He was a selfish jerk. Also would have been nice to have the characters history/back story in more depth at the beginning chapter of the book - instead of a short blip of his tragedy.

Would you ever listen to anything by Katie Ashley again?

    maybe

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    not really
