I love JoAnne Fluke. These books are like taking a trip back to my favorite small town USA
the characters are so awesome and she puts a new spin on it every time. I wish Hannah would go ahead a marry Norman though. I really hated Dr Bevn this book- great villain. It just was a great book and a must read in the series.

Excellent narration as always with Davina Porter. The story is cute. Love this series. Not all smutty but very engaging. Laughed a lot.

And Im really not all that into regency novels. Not smutty just histerically funny.

Very touching. Clean and cute. Believable. I liked the little boy and the college age daughter. Itwas religious without being sanctimonious.

I really like the what do I do with the rest of my life question dealt with by ex cons.
Especially ones who find faith inside.
It happens more than you think. It is really hard to get out and deal with life.
I would have liked a little more grit in this book it was a little too white washed for me but it was a great story and great reading with the whole avoiding a speach impedimeant thing going on very well performed. I would love a sequel.

It wasn't my favorite book in the series. The historical story of John Wilkes Booth had me more engaged than the manage et toi between exhusband and professor. But for a chance to get back with my favorite characters from this series I still loved it.
That said I do spend a lot of time listening to audible books and I love this narrators accents, childrens, adults and teen voices it was a good performance.

I've read her happiness key series and the shanandoah quilt series. I loved Whiskey Island the characters were very believable and midwestern. I love the Irish catholics in this part of the country. She goes from the present to a family history story from the prohibition The history was impeccable she must have researched the era of prohibition. It's much cleaner than most "romance" novels and not nearly as dry as a lot of historical fiction. Emily uses a pefect blend of each with a lot of suspense thrown in. Loved this book.

It's light. It's clean. It's hilarious. The characters are very believable and well developed. The series is fantastic and runs together perfectly. Who doesn't love a circus! And lest you think this is a teen writing this- no this is a mom and teacher of teens. We all love these books. I just wish she could write the sequels faster. Great work.

I've read the series and was waiting for this book I loved the main characters appearances in her previous books but this book did not make sense for me. It had its good moments and I wouldn't miss it cause it was part of the series. I guess I just expect phenomenal from Lisa Klypas every time this was not her very best.
