"Favorite of the series so far!"
Rowr! Okay, this one is my favorite book in the series so far. I've pretty much liked them all, but this one was extra hot!
"One of my all-time favorite series!!!"
I thoroughly enjoyed the book from beginning to end, just as I did the previous two. This is definitely an auto-buy author for me. She never disappoints. The entire series has been equally enjoyable. I can honestly say that this author always delivers and there is not one book that is better than the others or one book that has ever disappointed me. Which in reality is a rare thing in the literary world. But each book has been the perfect blend of wit, sarcasm, tender moments and mystery. I think everyone (including men) would enjoy the Charley Davidson series.
Each book in this series is nearly impossible to put down and walk away from. I suffered sleep deprivation from staying up all night listening to it until the wee hours of the morning.
This is one series that I think is even better to listen to than to read. Simply because the narrator Lorelei King does such an awesome job breathing life into Charley's character and all the other characters in the book, that it is that much more rewarding. Something that can't be said for many other audiobooks.
"This book made me a nervous wreck! Loved it!"
I knew this book was going to be a winner even before it's U.S. release date. I just love it when my intuition is right. The narrator does an excellent job. Full of so much mystery and confusion, you'll be turned around backwards and upside down and still won't know what's happening. It's definitely an Epic Win! But be forewarned, it might cause adrenaline fatigue in the last third of the novel. My heart was racing and my nerves were shot. Good thing I don't bite fingernails, or I would have chewed them off. Great suspenseful read! You won't regret it and might even want to listen to it a second time.
"This was supposed to be funny?"
Hmm. I tried to like this. Wanted to, in fact. Maybe it was my mood or frame of mind at the time, but I tried to listen to it twice. It just wasn't funny. And I even have kids, so I understand the limits you can reach when your kids won't go to sleep. Not a winner for me.
