not the most interesting or compelling book
there are some interesting parts but this book could have been half the length and still told the story
I think that this book is worth reading. It is not the most interesting reading even though the story it tells is in fact interesting.
I always enjoy reading Dick Francis, even if it feels alot like eating potato chips, not very filling.
I spend some time in Cuba and this book does a good job of capturing what I have seen. I think Hemingway can be very good or very bad and this falls in the middle.
This is a book I got very little out of reading. It did not make me think at all.
the usual solid plot and characters you find with Baldacci
I don't come away from these books with a great deal that I remember but the book is generally interesting and it is an important subject.
Lewis captures what it is like to lose someone that you passionately love. This is not a theoretical book but a description of very personal feelings.
I generally think of Margolin as better on action that character development. Here he brings back an old character which is good for a writer who does not emphasize this aspect as you already feel you know them a little. He then goes on to add some of interesting characters. Still, there are some believability flaws and the action is what keeps you reading.
