In the heart of Italy, Harvard professor of symbology, Robert Langdon, is drawn into a harrowing world centered on one of history’s most enduring and mysterious literary masterpieces: Dante’s Inferno. Against this backdrop, Langdon battles a chilling adversary and grapples with an ingenious riddle that pulls him into a landscape of classic art, secret passageways, and futuristic science. Drawing from Dante’s dark epic poem, Langdon races to find answers and decide whom to trust...before the world is irrevocably altered.

    Story

The pace and writing style of this latest novel is as expected and lovers would most probably like the story. This time it delves into Dantes live and art pieces. The story plays mostly in Italy and gives some nice descriptions of several ancient cities, like Florence (Firenze).
As for the story, for me personally, Dan Brown needed too much non sensical plot twists this time to complete his story. At a certain point I felt cheated by the story and thoughout the story I couldn't understand why the 'enemy' was giving so much away.
The narrator is doing a fine job and is able to let you envison the story and places visited.
All in all just okay, but not more than that.

Before he was considered a CIA superagent, before he was thought of as a terrorists worst nightmare, and before he was both loathed and admired by the politicians on Capitol Hill, Mitch Rapp was a gifted college athlete without a care in the world . . . and then tragedy struck.

    Story

I never read a Vince Flynn story before and downloaded this one because it got many great reviews. Although I found the story most time entertaining, it lacked depth in character building and plot line. Some characters, like the bully instructor was, more a caricature than a real person. Perhaps the characters are more fleshed out if you have read the other books, that come chronologically after this book. But as a starter it did not quite work for me.

The narrator did a great job and made me stay throughout the book.
