Mira Grant Makes involves you with her characters. She has a talent for making you interested in them from the moment they are introduced. With this second book in the series she does an amazing job of continueing this and leaves you salavating for the next book. If you have not listened to, or read the first book do so before downloading this one so you can enjoy the full experience of the worls she creates. You will not be dissapointed
This is a strong series. The story, narrator production value everything is solid. No over the top action. No macho BS. Just solid character and great narration across the series. The only down sound so far is that Adrien is a cat person. We all know that cats are the gate keepers of hell. Other than that good series, strong story telling and he can,t write female characters with out turning them into charactures. "Go team Vagina"!
This was not time well spent. By the time I got half way through I was only listening so I could be done with it.
Yes. The first two books in this series were pretty good.
By the end I wanted every character to die. This may spoil the book for anyone that wants to listen, so be warned. The book picks up at the very end of the second, and from there is just one long slog of being chased and characters trying to reconnect. They action in this book is so no stop that it goes beyond suspension of disbelief into bad action movie fight sequence. This overall made the listen very tedious. It was only stubbornness that made me hear it through to the very end. After I was done I listened to Day by Day Armageddon just so I would not have this book's disappointment stuck in my head.
