Welcome to Ringworld, an intermediate step between Dyson Spheres and planets. The gravitational force created by a rotation on its axis of 770 miles per second means no need for a roof. Walls 1,000 miles high at each rim will let in the sun and prevent much air from escaping. Larry Niven's novel, Ringworld, is the winner of the 1970 Hugo Award for Best Novel, the 1970 Nebula Award for Best Novel, and the 1972 Ditmars, an Australian award for Best International Science Fiction.

    "Nice idea - dull story"
    Overall

The idea of a ringworld is pretty cool - but the storytelling is dull and goes nowhere.

Parenting is not about kids, it's about parents. If you're not in control, then you cannot be in charge. What every kid really needs are parents who are able to keep their cool no matter what. Easier said than done? Not anymore, thanks to ScreamFree Parenting, the principle-based approach that's inspiring parents everywhere to truly revolutionize their family dynamics.

Crystal says: "CALLING ALL PARENTS: MUST READ!"
    "Worth reading"
    Overall

This is the first parenting book I've ever read, I thought it was well written, amusing and included some sensible tips.

This book won't change your world, however if you occasionally need reminding of some common sense tips it is worth listening to; as in the everyday struggle to do a good job we can sometimes forget some fairly basic things.
