I enjoy the audio versions better. Especially with George Guidall. Excellent interpretation of each and every character. Voice dynamics, inflections, accents, etc. Close your eyes and you are there,
Stephen Kings books are one way or another wrapped into each other. . .
Very hard to chose, but ultimately The Gunslinger. He has the voice right on for what I visualize as Roland and brings him to life.
