I've listened to a lot of Lee Child's Reacher books and really enjoy them. This one was so much fun to listen to--Jack was a bit more relaxed in this book and dialog was sometimes even witty! The plot, which involved a sniper and a bunch of bad-tempered Russians, was just complicated enough to keep me guessing.
All right--like many of the reviews have said, this is a long listen. With that said, it kept me walking the dogs more often, cleaning the bathrooms more, folding clothes in a timely manner, just so I could keep listening. The story was fascinating in terms of history and the functions of spies and intelligence during times of crisis. The narrator did a fabulous job keeping characters believable. The plot kept me guessing about who the good guys and who the bad guys were. This book is credit-worthy!
