"Fantastic!"
This book should stand as an inspiration to anyone who wishes to turn their life around! Jeff is eloquent yet real, and from leading the life he has, he is fascinating!
"So hilarious, as all Seth Grahame-Smith books are"
This book is as hilarious and implausible as Seth's other books, though I must say I did enjoy this one better than his other stories. He did a good job of trying to keep his text in the same style as Jane Austin, and only bumbled in a few attempts (like using words inappropriate to that time period). The corresponding PDF is awesome, and an excellent addition to the story
"Such suspense! Great Masie Dobbs novel"
This book was more dramatic than the previous books, though in a good way! The interview with the author at the end of the audiobook was very enlightening
"Loved this book!"
An excellent introduction to a new young detective, I can't wait to read the next book about Flavia! Though her intelligence and deductive skills are far beyond someone of her age (which makes this somewhat implausible), she does an excellent job of figuring out the mystery
"Good historical fiction, did not like parts"
This was a well-written story, but certain aspects of the story line were difficult to listen to and also quite frustrating.
"Good stories but no connecting story-line"
I love Sherlock Holmes but these were not my favorite of Arthur Conan Doyle's stories of him. Each is a short story that involves one case only, without a general overarching theme, I prefer the longer form cases
"LOVE this book!"
After reading this book, I now want to read the rest of the books in the series! It was a well-written first book for Ms. Winspear, and the narrator did an excellent job reading the story (each character sounded distinct)
"Entertaining read"
This is a somewhat mindless book, but thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless! I will continue to listen to other books by Molly Harper
"Solid book"
I love the Maisie Dobbs series! It is extremely interesting and well written. I wish this story did not go back and explain her back story so much, though I understand that it might be necessary when a reader/listener who is new to the series starts with this book. The narrator did an excellent job distinguishing all of the characters
"Informative, yet not overly serious about it"
Mary Roach's compilation on the lives of human cadavers is extremely interesting, and told with a humorous edge so as to not freak out the listener. I well done book!
