Create emotional stability and harmonious relationships. This is one of a series of six meditation recordings by Glenn Harrold and Ali Calderwood, which are based upon the ancient solfeggio musical scale. Each note in this scale has specific healing properties and this recording uses the fourth note, which resonates to a frequency of 639hz. This frequency works on connecting and harmonising relationships and deals with our perceptions of love.

I like this meditation. It has one for the day and one for before you to go bed. I prefer the one before bed. It helps me wind down. I'm not sure if I can credit the meditation for this but I have noticed a calmness in my approach with relationships lately. If anything, it's a good way to wind down.

  • Beyond Anger: A Guide for Men: How to Free Yourself from the Grip of Anger

It's not a new idea that men tend to express their anger differently than women do. Years of research have shown that men - for many different and complex reasons - are often more violent and less willing to confront and deal with their emotions than women. Now Beyond Anger shows the angry-and miserable-man how to change his life and relationships for the better.

I listened to this book, mainly so I can understand what's behind the anger in the men in my life. A lot of what he said made a sense and I even found myself relating to some of the reasons behind the anger. I would recommend this to any guy who has problems with his anger and doesn't know why. However, I wouldn't recommend it for a guy who hasn't accepted that he has a problem with anger. It may just make him angrier.

Marian Caldwell is a 36-year-old television producer, living her dream in New York City. With a fulfilling career and satisfying relationship, she has convinced everyone, including herself, that her life is just as she wants it to be. But one night, Marian answers a knock on the door ... only to find Kirby Rose, an 18-year-old girl with a key to a past that Marian thought she had sealed off forever. From the moment Kirby appears on her doorstep, Marian’s perfectly constructed world - and her very identity - will be shaken to its core.

I'm a fan of Emily Giffin's work and this one is not an exception. I loved the story, loved the characters, loved the sentiment.

As for the narrator... she was ok. I could not stand how she read Kirby's voice. To me, she made her sound a lot more bitter than I would have imagined. Other than that, she was ok to listen to.

I normally prefer to read books like this because I love to read... I only listened to it because I was on a road trip and wanted something to listen to. Despite the my dislike of the narration, I was still gripping at every detail. I would definitely recommend this book, weather it be audio or text.

I know this book has been around for a long time and I see why. The stories were logical but I've read a lot on the topic. This is a great book for interpersonal communication.

The only thing was that the narrator's voice is pretty dull. It wasn't terrible but I focus more on the material than the voice so that's why I was able to finish it. If you want to buy this one, I strongly recommend listening to a sample first.

This book is an excellent source for couples. Listening to the different needs was so interesting and eye opening. The stories of different problems with couples were easy to relate to and it was easy to understand the problems within each example. I would recommend this book to couples above all others out there.

Just as you have a different love language, you also hear and express the words and gestures of apology in a different language. New York Times best-selling author Gary Chapman has teamed with counselor Jennifer Thomas on this groundbreaking study of the way we apologize, discovering that it's not just a matter of will - it's a matter of how. By helping people identify the languages of apology, this book clears the way toward healing and sustaining vital relationships.

I listened to this audio because my friend says I have a hard time letting go of the past. I realized that was true and I partially knew why. After reading this book, I realized exactly why I get that uneasy feeling when I receive an apology after feeling betrayed. The best thing about this book is that it helps you understand what you need to hear or see to forgive a person. I think everyone should read this book solely for the purpose of learning to give a good apology. Apologies are definitely understated and I'm glad Gary and Jennifer wrote such a detailed book about giving and receiving them.
