    What would have made Fifty Shades of Grey better?

    A story line, well developed, believable characters, a plot, good writing: all of these things would have made the story better.


    What was most disappointing about E L James’s story?

    This isn't a story, but simply light porn disguised as a story. The most disappointing thing is that I wasted money.


    How did the narrator detract from the book?

    The narrator's speech is a fad/gimmick accent most commonly associated with teenagers.


    If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Fifty Shades of Grey?

    The scenes are erotic a bit scary and unbelievable.


    Any additional comments?

    If you are looking for an erotic, far fetched fantasy and nothing more, then this is the perfect book. I heard a woman at the spa referred to this piece as a self help book.

    I do like her books sometimes, but this one is poorly done and she uses the F word why?It just doesn't work.

    The narrator is wonderful and the likable, familiar characters.

    Yes, and he is always great!
