"Give it a listen...you will be rewarded!"
I found this book when I was aimlessly perusing Amazon.com the other day for a new read. I recently listened to The Host by Stephenie Meyer again and Melissa Marr's Graveminder was likened to it: a wonderful adult work written by a successful YA author. Once I started listening I couldn't stop. I finished it in less than a day. This author seamlessly introduced a fantasy world without bogging the book down with boring details. Give it a try, you will be rewarded!
"Pleasant Surprise"
I had read on many book blogs that On Dublin Street was one of the best romance books of 2012 and I have to agree. The storyline and characters are great. It has humor, romance and sadness as you watch Joss struggle with several issues. The narration was great too. I really enjoyed it!
"I can't get enough!"
Freaking Genius! Okay that's only 2 words and that would be Jillian Dodd I'm referring to. That Wedding is just a terrific follow up to That Boy. Sometimes I feel like a second book in a trilogy is just the filling between the first and the last - the book that has to be. Not this one. It was delightfully funny, sexy, thought provoking and sad. The perfect combination.
When Jayden goes to visit her parents graves was beautifully written.
Lisa Cordileone is great. I hope she narrates many more books.
Yes, absolutely! I am sure I will listen to it many times.
I look forward to That Baby that is supposed to come out this year and delving into other books by Jillian Dodd!
"Perfect Sequel"
I like the audio version because it is great to hear the poetry performed.
Point of Retreat and Slammed are similar to That Boy and Beautiful Disaster. Just perfect love stories.
I'm not opposed to Kamran R. Khan. I feel he needs to breath and slow down. At some points I felt like he was racing to finish.
All of the above...it made me laugh, cry, feel anxious.
I hope to see what Colleen Hoover brings us next.
"What can I say except I just loved this book!"
Yes because Lisa Cordileone brought Jayden to life.
I love the way Jillian Dodd so perfectly had me feeling all the characters emotions. I laughed, cried, sighed and swooned.
She wasn't just reading it, she was living it. Not once did I feel like I was listening to somebody just narrate something. She was acting it out. Simply perfect.
I practically did! I started this book last night, had to force myself to turn it off and go to sleep and finished it today.
I hope to see many more additions from Jillian Dodd to Audible!
"Wow, Wow, Wow!"
This book is a wonderful package of bittersweet amazing. The challenges that each character faces is thought provoking. Beautifully written. Get out your tissues. Heidi Baker does a great job conveying the poetry in this book. I just hope the sequel to this book is made into an audio version soon.
"Fun read!"
This was my first Eloisa James book and I found it to be a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend it!
Eloisa James books remind me of all the things I love about Susan Elizabeth Phillips books: witt, romance, a little heart break and interesting characters.
All of the characters had distinct, pleasing voices.
Yes!
"Can't wait for the sequel!"
I really love this newest vampire novel with the added layers of witches and demons. Only sad that I will have to wait a year to hear the sequel. A worthwhile read.
"A Great Ride!"
I was hesitant to read this book because of all the negative reviews, but I am hear to tell you, don't pass this one up! This story has many layers of interesting characters. The science fiction elements are written nicely and the romance elements are satisfying. This is definitely outside the box of the regular Jennifer Crusie books but don't let that keep you away. A great read. Angela Dawe as always, did a really good job narrating.
