"Don't bother!"
If I could have rated this one zero stars I would have. This is the worst "erotica" I have heard on Audible. This doesn't even come close to "Penthouse - Between the Sheets".
The stories are lame and the readers are lame. There is much better fare available so I strongly suggest you avoid this one completely. However, I have to admit that I haven't listened to the entire book. Once I got to the story about the homosexual soldiers I had enough. Even the stories leading up to and surrounding the "erotica" in the book are BORING! Trust me - skip this one completely. The 5 star ratings must have been posted by the authors.
"How does he do it?"
Ira Glass manages to create entertaining, educational, and enlightening material week after week! I look forward to each new edition like a long hot shower after a weekend of backpacking. The most refreshing show on the radio. A full hour of This American Life each week is a bargain for one subscription credit.
"Not worth wasting a subscription credit."
I do enjoy listening to The Prarie Home Companion whenever I can. And I do believe that The News From Lake Wobegon is the highlight of the show. I just don't feel that 20 minutes is worth a subscription credit. For example, you can enjoy an entire hour of This American Life or Car Talk for the same credit - 3 times the enjoyment, assuming you enjoy either show I just mentioned. I would give this a higher rating if there were more content.
"Wow!"
I agree with the first reviewer who stated that it can get boring if you try to listen to it for several hours. Like a fine wine, this is best comsumed in small doses, don't try to guzzle it all in one sitting. I first began listening while driving my car and some of the stories were, shall I say - too distracting to listen to while driving.
My biggest complaint about all of the books on tape is that they aren't divided into chapters so you can easily replay some of the best stories without fast forwarding and rewinding. Not all of the stories in the book are worth replaying, but some of them are very, very hot.
