Beginning with the story of a simple burglary at Democratic headquarters and then continuing with headline after headline, Bernstein and Woodward kept the tale of conspiracy and the trail of dirty tricks coming - delivering the stunning revelations and pieces in the Watergate puzzle that brought about Nixon's scandalous downfall. Their explosive reports won a Pulitzer Prize for The Washington Post and toppled the president. This is the book that changed America.

What did you like best about this story?

I just like the story in general. The movie is one of my favourites, and the book is even better (as it usually is)

What about Richard Poe’s performance did you like?

Richard has a nice voice to listen to. He also differentiates the voices in a conversation without being over-the-top. You can tell when it's a discussion between two people, and when which person is speaking, but it's not over-played in any way.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would, as long as they're patient. It's a fun listen, but with the word "said" in almost every sentence it's hard to listen to sometimes.

    Any additional comments?

If the narration wasn't so choppy it wouldn't be so bad.

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

Would you consider the audio edition of Your First Listen to be better than the print version?

Definitely. Your First Listen was definitely better than Your First Read. Also it was pretty funny.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the way that Joey reminded me of my creepy stalker ex-boyfriend.

Have you listened to any of the narrator’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I had listened to Steve Martin's performances, but more on TV than on my phone. This was just as good as King Tut.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely. And at 4mins in length it was easy to do!

    Any additional comments?

    Highly recommended!

I had listened to Carolyn on the first Hunger Games book and this one was no different. She did an excellent job and I want to listen to more books narrated by her.

Just as with the first book, I could have listened to this whole book at once if I could stay awake for that long. It was excellent and hard to put down.

    Any additional comments?

Listen to this book! It was very well written, and easy to listen to. I can't wait to listen to the third one.

In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.
