Now on the hunt, Samantha will use her considerable resources, including her growing supernatural abilities, to locate the missing girl before it's too late.

I am a fan of this series, but it's a bit like a good bowl of popcorn; you enjoy it while you're eating it, and you're certainly sorry when it's done, but if something else exciting comes along, you can easily put it down. That said, I have purchased every book and will continue to do so. The writing is smooth, although I felt something was 'off' on the interpersonal relationships until I discovered JR Rain is a man-- then it made sense. Don't get me srong, he is a good writer and makes a great story and an easy read, but the women's inner voice seems like a man's version of a woman's inner voice if you know what a mean. This is a good combo of supernatural and mystery, reminded me of Dresden Files a little. Overall, a good, solid easy to digest series that I will stick with.

Jeaniene does it again!! This book is awesome! I am not that into Vlad, so I didn't think I'd love it, but I do, of course-- how could I have doubted her? I will be re-reading this at my first convenience, that's how highly I recommend it. If you are not already a fan, you can start with this one, but I'd say you should first check out the 'Grave' series, starting with 'Halfway to the Grave' and also the two other 'Night Huntress' books that came before this one. You will easily be hooked by her quick witted writing style and her easily flowing dialog. This book is funny, exciting, and dramatic without too much or too little of anything. The narration is top notch, it doesn't get any better -- that said, in the last 'Grave' books, I do feel Tavia went a bit over the top, but she reigns it in nicely with this one. I loved it! What are you waiting for?

I am more into supernatural stuff, but I bought this book for Tavia Gilbert, who I feel is the best narrator ever. That said, I was into it, the story is different, not very plausible maybe, but it pulls you in. The writing is smooth and it flows nicely, very visual. It ends abruptly, I see there is another book in the series and I will download that eventually, but I'm not rushing for it. If there was a different narrator, I don't think I would like it as much, Tavia Gilbert is just really good, so I'm going to recommend this one, if for no other reason then her reading of it.

I am a Molly Harper fan. The 'Nice Girls' Series was the first I read/heard on Audible. So, I had big expectations for this book. That said, it did not disappoint, but it's not 'Nice Gilrs' either. If you are a fan, then definately go for this book. Narrator is perfect, as always. Story is new but incorporates some of your favorites, which is neato. If you've never read Molly Harper, start with 'Nice Girls' and then get to this one...

This is a very long book and an easy read, which makes it worth the money, in my opinion. The story concept is good and solid, any supernatural fan would like it. The author seems very book-smart. The character progression seems rushed, but there is a lot to tell in this story, so I guess it couldn't be helped. The narrator is awesome, a cool, smooth voice that is easy to listen to. Overall, good performance, good book- not great due to character development- but, I give it a thumbs up!

So what if he's a bit older and usually regards a human female as dinner, not a dinner date? Yes, Roman Draganesti is a vampire, but a vampire who lost one of his fangs sinking his teeth into something he shouldn't have. Now he has one night to find a dentist before his natural healing abilities close the wound, leaving him a lopsided eater for all eternity. Things aren't going well for Shanna Whelan either... After witnessing a gruesome murder by the Russian mafia, she's next on their hit list. And her career as a dentist appears to be on a downward spiral because she's afraid of blood.

The title of this book confounds me, I guess they did it to attract attention to the cover? The title has nothing to do with the story, in my opinion. Anyway, this is ok, a quick read... I wouldn't say 'spend your last credit on it'. It's a bit slow, concept is interesting I guess, character dialog is quite lacking, bordering on horrible. Narrator is ok, hard to tell some characters apart. I guess I would just say this whole book, from story to characters to narration has very little effort attached to it. I'm not giving it a bad review, just saying don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.
