Alexia Tarabotti, Lady Maccon, has settled into domestic bliss. Of course, being Alexia, such bliss involves integrating werewolves into London High society, living in a vampire's second best closet, and coping with a precocious toddler who is prone to turning supernatural willy-nilly. Even Ivy Tunstell's acting troupe's latest play, disastrous to say the least, cannot put a damper on Alexia's enjoyment of her new London lifestyle.

This series has been a favourite right from the first book, first chapter. Pure entertainment, enhanced by Ms Greys' excellent narration.

In "Coventry's Christmas", Rebecca Hagan Lee offers a charming new story. With Christmas approaching, Amabel Thurston is ordered from the family home by her father's widow and must seek the protection of her guardian, Deverel Brookfield, eighth Marquess of Coventry. Unfortunately, the Devil of Coventry has little use for Christmas and even less for proper young ladies.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

The director needs to listen to this. The errors are too many. Not up to S. Z's standard at all.

Would you be willing to try another one of Stevie Zimmerman’s performances?

    Yes

Framed for a crime he did not commit, Duncan Campbell, the illegitimate son of a chieftain, has returned to the Highlands, determined to clear his name after ten years in exile. He is drawn to the unforgettable sensual beauty of Jeannie Gordon, the headstrong girl who once pledged him her love, gave him her innocence, and then betrayed him. Now, in the glow of the moonlight, she defiantly shows Duncan the bad end of a pistol .Jeannie is stunned to discover that the broad-chested brigand she just shot is the rogue who broke her heart years ago.

Damien Knight, the earl of Winterley, is proud, aloof, and tormented by memories of war. Though living in seclusion, he is named guardian to a fellow officer's ward. Instead of the young homeless waif he was expecting, however, Miranda FitzHubert is a stunning, passionate beauty who invades his sanctuary and forces him back into society. Struggling to maintain honor and self-control, Damien now faces an even greater threat: desire.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

This narrator requires training on phrasing and pronunciation. Her work on this book made it very hard for this listener to enjoy the story. I listened to the end only because I like the authors' work.
