"Love it!"
I love this series. I'm not sure what rock I've been hiding under all these years but I'm glad I've come out. These have all been fabulous. I'm not disappointed.
"Good story..."
This was a cute story, a little love and a little mystery all tied up in an easy listen.
"Great stories!"
I purchased this to listen to the latest Sookie and for the Jim story by Katie MacAlister (I just love that big dog!) and what I got out of it was a few more authors I'm going to be reading more from! None of the stories are very long but they are all great! After listening to Ms. Frost's story about Cat, I immediately downloaded the first in her series and now I'm hooked! I'm off to look for the other authors too. This is definitely and 'Excellent' book!
"LOVED IT!"
I absolutely loved this book. I read/listen to a lot of vampire/werewolf/paranormal novels and romances and this one was great!!! A lot of action, some descriptive sex and a great character development. I'm anxious to have the next in the series come out on audio! I'd read the book but the narrator really made these characters come alive and I'd rather listen to the story unfold. I'm so glad this book has come to Audible!!
"Not quite as good."
This one isn't as good as the first. I really would have liked a little more dry JJ Mallory humor. I think it's worth a listen but the first is definitely the better of the two.
"Loved it but... the reader?..."
I love Laurell K. Hamilton. I've been reading the Anita and Mery series since the beginning. She never disappoints me. It is a racy book, not for those faint of heart. It's loaded with sex and action!
My one complaint, the reader is slower than molasses! I had to put my Ipod on 'Faster' just to even listen to her!
"Just what the witch ordered..."
This book was fun! I'm a huge fan of vampire, were and witch novels. This one fit me perfectly. I don't know why I haven't read any of these before. I plan on devouring all she's written!
"A quickie"
This quick and free audible was worth the hour I spent listening to it. It almost seemed like the type of story she was thinking about making into a book, with 'notes' given before each chapter on what's to happen. It was a sexy story with a happy ending, still worth the listen.
"Could have been better"
I just finished the Bone Garden by Tess Gerritsen and was looking for some more historical intrigue and medical beginnings. While the book started off that way it quickly started to be more of just a mystery. The medical parts fading away. I wasn't impressed. Not what I was expecting.
"Not steamy"
I was hoping this would be another steamy novel like Cain's Reckoning. Nope. I was disappointed. Not many sex scenes although the girl talks about it all the time, barely anything happens. If you're looking for steamy, this isn't it.
