From the outrageously filthy and oddly innocent comedienne Sarah Silverman comes a memoir—her first book—that is at once shockingly personal, surprisingly poignant, and still pee-in-your-pants funny. If you like Sarah’s television show The Sarah Silverman Program, or memoirs such as Chelsea Handler’s Are You There Vodka? It’s Me Chelsea and Artie Lange’s Too Fat to Fish, you’ll love The Bedwetter.

If you enjoy Sarah Silverman and her humor, you love hearing her narrate her book Bedwetter. She is, as always, charming and adorable, filthy and crass. A really fun listen.

Coney Island: Coralie Sardie is the daughter of the impresario behind The Museum of Extraordinary Things, a boardwalk freak show that amazes and stimulates the crowds. An exceptional swimmer, Coralie appears as the Mermaid in her father's "museum", alongside performers like the Wolfman, the Butterfly Girl, and a 100-year-old turtle. One night Coralie stumbles upon a striking young man photographing moonlit trees in the woods off the Hudson River.

    Story

A spellbinding tale set in Coney Island in the early 1900's. Narrated beautifully, the story centers around a museum of freaks and curiosities, tradition and familial obligation, immigrants and workers rights.

If you enjoyed Night Circus, Water for Elephants, or Geek Love, you'll love the fantastical elements in Coralie's story. If you enjoy historical fiction, the depictions of the events in New York at the time are fascinating.

    Very highly recommend this audiobook!

Debut novelist Eowyn ivey’s experience living in the Alaskan wilderness brings a palpable authenticity to The Snow Child. Alaska in the 1920s is a difficult place for Jack and Mabel. Drifting apart, the childless couple discover Faina, a young girl living alone in the wilderness. Soon, Jack and Mabel come to love Faina as their own. But when they learn a surprising truth about the girl, their lives change in profound ways.

The Snow Child is a whimsical, fairy-tale like story about a couple stuggling to make a life in the Alaskan Frontier in the 1920's. The story is melancholy and beautiful, and the audio performance is good.
