Victoria McQueen has an uncanny knack for finding things: a misplaced bracelet, a missing photograph, answers to unanswerable questions. When she rides her bicycle over the rickety old covered bridge in the woods near her house, she always emerges in the places she needs to be. Vic doesn't tell anyone about her unusual ability, because she knows no one will believe her. She has trouble understanding it herself.

Joe Hill is an awesome writer and this is his best book so far. The reader is pretty good although her voice was annoying in a few areas. If you enjoy supernatural and fantasy books don't miss out on this one. Christmas land is brought to life with vivid detail and great imagination of the writer. I laughed, cried and almost peed my pants (lol) in different parts.

Don't miss out on this great book.

Ten excited guests arrive at the Westlake Estate, expecting a lavish retreat. They are the winners of a sweepstakes to "Live Like a Billionaire for a Week." But what was supposed to be a promising escape soon turns into a horrific nightmare. Within hours of arrival, the guests sit down for an extravagant dinner. When they pull their party poppers as instructed, a loud chorus of bangs resounds, followed by earsplitting screams as the guest seated at the head of the table bursts into flames and slumps to the floor.

I enjoyed the book, especially the reader. I would have like a little more detail at the end on why they did the murders, how and why they picked the people they picked. Needed more details in the above area. It was a good book and has some great parts and I didn't know who did it until the end. I will listen t it again.

Joyland is a brand-new novel and has never previously been published.

I enjoyed this book very much. It was a good short listen. The narrator was ok. Most of his voices were very similar. The book itself showed the lighter side of King. I enjoy his scary or supernatural books the best. It is worth the listen. His characters are always good and bring you into the book. The ending could have had a little more closure. I did laugh and cry at different times in the book,. If you are a SK fan you will enjoy it

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, doesn’t care much for witches. Still, he’s about to make nice with the local coven by signing a mutually beneficial nonaggression treaty when suddenly the witch population in modern-day Tempe, Arizona, quadruples overnight. And the new girls are not just bad, they’re badasses with a dark history on the German side of World War II. With a fallen angel feasting on local high school students, a horde of Bacchants blowing in from Vegas, and a dangerously sexy Celtic goddess of fire vying for his attention, Atticus is having trouble scheduling the witch hunt.

Luke Daniels is a great narrator and reads well. I will look for more series narrated by him.

Unraveling the tumultuous, decades-spanning story of the Dolan family’s friends, lovers, and adversaries, Double Feature is about letting go of everything - regret, resentment, ambition, dignity, moving pictures, the dead - and taking it again from the top. Combining propulsive storytelling and mordant wit against the backdrop of indie filmmaking, Double Feature brims with a deep understanding of the trials of ambition and art, of relationships and life, and of our attempts to survive it all.

I enjoyed this book very much. Owen King is a great up and coming novelist. He captured my attention and had moments of laughter and near tears. Although not my normal genre to read. This is more of a humorous drama I was surprised by the superb writing. Owen King really show his own writing style and fanfare. Does have a few graphic descriptions so probably not for children.

The narrator did a really good job and kept you in the book. I would recommend this to any of my friends for a good, brooding yet lighthearted book.

Mr. King you have my respect and admiration for adapting your own style and finesse in a family of accomplished writers. Keep up the good work

On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.

Eerie, dreamlike, set in a world that is weirdly related to our own, The Gunslinger introduces Roland Deschain of Gilead, of In-World that was, as he pursues his enigmatic antagonist to the mountains that separate the desert from the Western Sea in the first volume of The Dark Tower series. Roland, the last gunslinger, is a solitary figure, perhaps accursed, who with a strange single-mindedness traverses an exhausted, almost timeless landscape of good and evil.
