Now she finds herself training a sorcerer from 12th century Ireland, a witch from modern day New York, a scholar and a shape changer from the mythical land of Geall.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes- because it's thoroughly entertaining and performed superbly!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Can't pick- they were all done great, but if forced, I lean toward Keenan!

What does Dick Hill bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The regional and gender accents are great fun! Mr. Hill brings the book alive with a great energy with appropriate emotion that makes the audio version of this series wonderfully enjoyable. I found myself laughing out loud at times!

Sparhawk, the Pandion Knight and Queen's Champion, returns from a long spell of exile to find his native land overrun with evil and intrigue, and his young Queen grievously ill. Indeed, Ehlana lies magically entombed within a block of crystal, doomed to die unless a cure can be found within a year.

Bryan J. Peterson says: "Quirky pronunciations but overall a worthy job."

If you could sum up The Diamond Throne in three words, what would they be?

    Superb! Engaging! Terrific!

What did you like best about this story?

The character personalities and the smart dialogue

What didn’t you like about Greg Abby’s performance?

It was just flat overall, and not believable, often difficult to distinguish one character from the other if the name wasn't given. The emotions were not performed in alignment with the various moods and situations. My favorite part however was when Sparhawk and company visit Ashram (I think that's the name) the crazy, toothless, fanatical cult leader toward the end of the book- the performance of Ashram's voice sounded exactly like Jim Carey doing Fire Marshall Bill! Absolutely comical...

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I love David Eddings- that's my only reaction

    Any additional comments?

This should have never been released with this poor quality narration performance- not slamming the guy maybe he just needs more experience. Suggest that when handling rich fictional works like Eddings, test samples of at least one chapter be done for test audiences before slaughtering the whole book and no less the whole series- a real shame.

Daughter of a cold, controlling mother and an anonymous donor, studious, obedient Elizabeth finally let loose one night, drinking too much at a nightclub and allowing a strange man’s seductive Russian accent to lure her to a house on Lake Shore Drive. The events that followed changed her life forever. Twelve years later, the woman now known as Abigail Lowery lives alone on the outskirts of a small town in the Ozarks. A freelance programmer, she works at home designing sophisticated security systems.

If you could sum up The Witness in three words, what would they be?

    Smart! Entertaining! Hooked!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Liz-a.k.a. Abigail was my favorite character because as the central character it was fun to see her evolve and thrive and not just survive considering the dynamics of her childhood and the traumatic situation. She was a very strong character and I appreciated that despite her start the strength of the human spirit allowed her to be who she ultimately became.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The first meeting between Abigail and Brooks at her house...and the role of Bert...I did want him to have at least one scene where he got to get the bad guy! CHOMP!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

OMG! You guys could make this a mini-series for TV easily! I don't think it needs a tag line!

    Any additional comments?

The narrator was FANTASTIC!!! I hated to see the story end, but I was happy with the ending as it was.

What did you love best about Morrigan's Cross?

The performance is fantastically fun and the story line was interesting- it leaves you wanting more, and fortunately there is more in the two subsequent books that make up the series

Who was your favorite character and why?

Hard to pick a favorite- Dick Hall is talented! The fact that it's one guy doing all the characters is very impressive because he is able to distinguish the characters for the listener- even the female characters- so I'd have to say Dick Hall is my favorite character as the narrator!

    Which scene was your favorite?

Picturning Hoyt adapting to the luxuries of modern times like running water, taxi cabs, and elevators!

Track one offers you a simple introduction to this process and gives you basic advice about how to use this recording. In track two Anne leads you through a guided meditation to meet and dialogue with your inner saboteur giving it a new role to perform in support of your good intentions.

Where does Valley of Silence rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

So far the best Narration performance I've found in the NR books- which topically are purely for entertainment. Mr. Hill however takes what would otherwise be fun read to a fantastically enjoyable listen! Enjoyed is so much, I listened to the series twice!

Which character – as performed by Dick Hill – was your favorite?

Too hard to pick- he did a GREAT job with all of them!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes

Joel has filled this book with bold new prayers, inspiring stories, and practical tools for moving forward in faith. You will find proven methods for not just picking up the pieces but for building a new life better than you'd imagined.

What made the experience of listening to It's Your Time the most enjoyable?

Joel is soul connected- to himself, to others, to the Creator. It shows and and it shines brightly in his books no matter how simple you may think them to be. Joel has been blessed with the gift of encouragement and clarity that helps us to see ourselves as we really are...not imagined, not pretentiously, but as we really are. Some people are fortunate to have parents or mentors that boosted them to see over the fence into their future selves and potential. Some did not. Joels' effective encouragment and motivational preaching closes that gap in a big way. He is a talented preacher, author, narrator, and is a living example of how to realize when it really is our time and how to sieze it! Love this book! It helped me to stand taller as I do what I do in the now and pursue what I want in the future!

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

The power of believing for the best for yourself and from yourself!

Do you often dream of living a more rewarding life? Do you aspire to a better job, a stronger marriage, a happier home? Do you wish for more gratifying relationships with your family and friends? Perhaps you simply want to accomplish more and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Inspiration is a less understood and less appreciated commodity in our high tech, fast pace, instant gratification culture these days. But the external capabilities of human kind can dull quickly because our appetites are unfocused and glutenous for the next new, best, thing. Joel manages to move past and through all of the haze of our physical life style, while not ignoring we are physical, and capture our true voids which are the inability to live our best lives absent the spiritual connection with the Creator and our spiritual self. This is a great book and obviously I am a fan of Joels' style.

However, don't take for granted that a little inspiration can go a long way and help us to not just get through life but get the most out of life by aligning ourselves with our true selves- which is the God in all of us.

What does Joel Osteen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Joel's enthusiasm and emotion come across in his narration and it is just as impactful as sitting in an arena listening to a Billy Graham, or Elton John do what they do- share their gifts.
