"Great To Have More of Roark In this book."
JD Robb and Susan Ericksen are a fabulous team.
I loved this book with it's bigger storyline for Roark. All of the additional voices were excellent as well.
As always, I can't wait for the first words of the next one.
"My heart belongs to Maggie"
My first Robert Crais. I absolutely loved it. By giving Maggie a voice Crais taught us so much about how these wonderful dogs are trained and how they interpret the training.
I also loved seeing how Scot and Maggie's relationship developed and they bonded so closely. The story line was great. Terrific book.
"Laughs/Suspense - Kept me reading!"
It took a little time to adjust to southern speech. Once I got the rhythm, I really enjoyed listening. The characters were terrific, each in their own way.
The book was not of my usual reading yet it was good.
"Disappointed"
My familiarity of Lis Wiehl came from watching her on Fox and seeing how dynamic she was. I thought that might follow through in her writing but it didn't. The book was OK. I decided to forgo the rest.
"Just What I Needed"
I was looking for a series to tide me over until the next IN DEATH came along. This is it.
I really enjoyed the first book. The male voices were a little off putting but not enough to stop me from listening.
"I want MORE!"
Love this series. I have so much trouble waiting for the next new book.
It is so good to hear Susan Ericksen back to normal. The voices add so much to the characters and detract from them when the voices aren't right.
Keep them coming.
"So good to hear Alex's voice again"
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were great as were most of the story lines.
I couldn't understand how Alex, of all people, didn't think that his house was bugged when all of the private information was coming out.
"disappointing"
title says it all. I was disappointed in the book especially after such a long wait.
"Kept me going until the end"
I had to work through the narration due to the lack of difference of character voices. The story was great and I was surprised by the final details
"A Little Different BUT Great None the Less"
I am addicted to this series, Robb's writing and Ericksen's narration.
This one was a little different and more complex, but it is always fascinating to listen to Dallas et al figure it out. Dallas' and Roarke's voices were a little different but still perfect for the characters. I miss McNabb, he is always fun to listen to.
I can't wait for the next one.
"WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE???"
Because I don't recognize any of these voices, the story is pretty much ruined for me.
There is no character or personality to these voices.
I love Susan Ericksen as a narrator and I really miss her in this book. Because of the reviews for the previous book, I didn't purchase it. Now I am sorry that I purchased this one.
