Callan Lyons is a genetic experiment, one of six fighting for freedom and the survival of their Pride. Merinus Tyler is the reporter who will tempt him, draw him, until the fury of the "mating frenzy" locks them into a battle of sexual heat they cannot escape. The evil Genetics Council is hot on their trail. Leaving a trail of their own of deception and blood. Callan will use his strength to try to save them both...and do all in his power to keep his woman in the process.

    Story
Is there anything you would change about this book?

The story and series is one I've read and re-read numerous times, so no - I wouldn't change the story.

What other book might you compare Tempting the Beast to and why?

The rest of the Breed series, naturally, is great - but it also compares to Christine Warren's Other series and Christine Feehan's Ghostwalker series.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

First - the lack of dramatic vocalizations greatly detracted from my enjoyment, but compounding that was the mispronouncations. Primarily the heroine's name is Merinus (marin us) - not (mar eens or some such). If this is indicative of the rest narration for the back series, count me out. I'd rather put it through a text to speech reader - and have done so many times.

Could you see Tempting the Beast being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I'd love to see it in visual media.

    Any additional comments?

If you're looking for a great series, yes, I'd recommend this one - but read the books instead of listening to this one. Or, as I said, put them through a text to speech mp3 recorder software or FBReader speech on your android. You'll probably enjoy it more than this one.
