"Listen as Dick Hill Brings Jack Reacher To Life!"
Mr. Hill's gruff voice as the lead character comes through in living color. Mr. Child builds each character to completion. I have already suggested this book to friends!
Reacher's irreverent manner is so "Not P.C." He reminds me of a dear friend of mine.
Mr. Hill's voice is perfect for Reacher. It took me a minute or two to get use to hearing him portray the females in the book but after a while, I realized I was hearing them through Reacher.
There are many places that made me chuckle and a few that made me sad. It's a well rounded emotional ride
I read a hard copy of "Worth Dying For" which was a great read. When I needed to take a trip, I thought I might as well start at the beginning. It's six hours of great listening...... Must have the series!!!
"Can't get enough of Jack Reacher!"
Hot... Focused... Eventfull
Well, If I told you, it would spoil the book! =)
I rely on him to be the great voice of Jack Reacher and it cracks me up when he has to portray a child. He does a great job.
In Texas, things aren't always as they seem.
"Coffee & Murder - Who Knew? Great series!"
Since I have not had the oppertunity to read the hardcopy, I can not answer this but It's a fun listen.
It's a fast paced plot that kept me moving forward through the book and makes me want to listen to another.
I like that she is able to manifest so many different voices, women's and men's.
I can't say any particular one but I liked all the twists and turns this book took.
This is my third listen in her Coffeehouse series & I continue to keep buying/listening. =)
"Think twice before doing business with the ..."
As always, Tony Roberts brings Stone Barrington to life in a way no one else can. Not only does he do this but he fleshes out all the other characters in the book! Following the main characters thru another event in their lives brings dimension to all of them and the world of law, police, Hollywood and New York
I can not mention just one thing that I like about the story. It's a well woven story.
Mr. Robert's ability to flick from one character to another, no matter if female or male, origin included is great!
I can't give THAT away! =)
"An unexpected pleasure to listen to..."
I truly didn't expect to be drawn into this 'listen". The way in which the writer stays on the edge of things and is so very descriptive and factual is wonderful.I also really enjoyed the interview with Mr. Zuckerberg's sister. She makes me feel so hopeful about things in general and makes me want to succeed in what I do.
I listened to the sample as one of my first listens. I will be buying this book at some point.
