An author whose previous, wildly successful novels have earned him a reputation as fantasy's master of magic, Brandon Sanderson continues to dazzle audiences with this tale of princesses and gods. In this extraordinary world, those who attain glory return as gods. And those who can master the essence known as breath can perform the most wondrous miracles - or unleash the most devastating havoc.

    Overall

I love Brandon Sanderson's writing style. The way he takes the characters and provides each with their own story line and intertwines them together. I listened to this book after listening to Elantris and I would have to say that Sanderson is one of my favorite writers now. I loved the narrator. I thought he did a great job at bringing all the characters to life.

  • How the Stock Market Works

    • ORIGINAL (9 hrs and 15 mins)

    • Narrated By Professor Ramon P. DeGennaro

This course is an introduction to the stock market and stock investing for novices and experienced investors alike. Professor DeGennaro uses simple analogies to explain the origin of stocks and other securities, as well as their relative risks. He stresses the danger of trying to beat the market by trying to pick winners, predict price trends, or otherwise find opportunities that other investors have missed.

In between telling you how the stock market works, he spends quite a lot of energy trying to convince you it is fair, needs deregulation, and a host of other opinions with loose definitions. Other than that, it was a great resource for learning how it all works. And even a bonus about how you might want to invest as a casual.
