Absolute best listen so far

So many times during this reading, I found myself thinking "wow, that makes so much sense."

At the very end when he brought all the concepts together and said "love wins."

I would recommend this book to anyone, Christian or not, to challenge what you thought you knew about God and Jesus. This short read brought me great insight to Jesus' message and where to place it in my faith.
For anyone that has been exposed to organized Christian religion and turned away, this read brings you back to the essence of God's love and Christ's purpose in our lives.

The audio version is amazing and better than the print version because its the author, a neurosurgeon, telling his most amazing journey to Heaven and back. You can hear the deep emotion in his voice as he tells of his fate and the joy that his experience has brought to his life.

No other book can touch the depth and detail of Eben Alexander's description of his near death experience. His testament regarding the three different phases of his journey and the absolute love that he came to know shall one day become our newest gospel.

The author brings the most credible and incredible account of what we may expect our conscience to experience at death. First, he is an Neurologist, a scientist, who's training allows him to honestly evaluate and confirm the validity of his experience. Second, the severity of his illness and the depth of his coma give us the most comprehensive view of what exists in what Edgar Cayce called the "Super Conscience." Lastly, the fact that a brain surgeon fully recovered from such an exceedingly rare and unexplainable illness, one that allowed his brain to be completely shut down thus allowing a level of an out of body experience never seen before, makes one think that a higher power was truly at work with Eben Alexander.

My opinion is that God chose this time and this person to convey a truth about reality and the Love that awaits our understanding. I feel that one day Eben Alexander's story will be shown as a watershed moment where mankind truly began to comprehend our place in the Universe.
