It was an entertaining story
This book carried me away. I was enchanted all the way to the end. The ending seemed rushed. I would have written it a different way, that is not what bothered me. The ending seemed to dole out harsh consequences to the remaining characters. It left me with a bit of a hole in my heart.
A good listen
Card paints a picture of the future of America that is both scary and believable.
The book explores the internal mind with the typical Koontz twists.
This was a wonderfully sad tale that enlightens the listener about what it was like to be a women in China.
Koontz is always a good read! (Or listen)
It was a book I could not put down, but there were times when I wanted to because it made an ugly future so real.
