After being murdered by a mystery assailant, navigating his way through the realm between life and death, and being brought back to the mortal world, Harry realizes that maybe death wasn’t all that bad - because he is no longer Harry Dresden, Chicago’s only professional wizard. He is now Harry Dresden, Winter Knight to Mab, the Queen of Air and Darkness. After Harry had no choice but to swear his fealty, Mab wasn’t about to let something as petty as death steal away the prize she had sought for so long.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Butcher continues in quality, rhythm, and style in this latest 24 hours in the life of Harry Dresden. Not a genre for everyone, but compelling and a very entertaining listen, once one is accustomed to the graphic novel and pop-culture stylistics.Marsters gives wonderful voice to the cast of characters, new and old.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The central characters, at least 6, are well fleshed out, and enrich the overall story tapestry.

Sandra Foster studies fads and their meanings for the HiTek corporation. Bennett O'Reilly works with monkey group behavior and chaos theory for the same company. When the two are thrust together due to a misdelivered package and a run of seemingly bad luck, they find a joint project in a flock of sheep. But a series of setbacks and disappointments arise before they are able to find answers to their questions - with the unintended help of the errant, forgetful, and careless office assistant Flip.

thought provoking conceptually, but overdosed with irritating 2 dimensional repetitive caricatures. Fad factoid are uninteresting. Some storyline segments are too predictable.
