"Eye Opener about fats, weight and health!"
I have listened to Queen of Fats about 3 times already over the last 6 months. It is something that I will keep in my audible library for reference. It was an eye opener to the change of dietary eating over the last century. I see the increased health problems of America along with the increase of girth (weight) despite exercise and diet fads being billion dollar businesses and the government putting their food pyramids, school programs, etc. The food industry has been changing their processing of food in order to have longer shelf life. This change has affected our health. Thank you for the research. Awesome.
"Great Positive Book!"
I haven't decided yet if I like the way the book is written. It gives you little teasers as it builds its principles. As you continue onto another principle, it gives you a little more of the story. You have to listen to it all pretty much at one time so you don't forget what they were giving you before. Great examples. I highly recommend, especially if you can do the entire listen in a day or two. If you want to be more of an INFLUENCER, then get this and give it a listen; it can change the way you think.
"Every married person ought to get..."
There are so many marriages that are just getting along but has lost the zing. I am a pastor and highly recommend this book to every married couple. Many people get along great during dating and then the honeymoon period, but then something seems to happen. Dr. Chapman takes us past the romance stage to show how to speak a love language to your mate. What one thing can your partner say or do that definitely shows that they love you. This helps show what your love language is, but is your partner consistently doing this. Our upbringing and influences often develop our love language...not every girl desires flowers or chocolates as the "I Love You" language. Do you know what your mate is desiring of you?
"Easy Listening - I Highly Recommend"
I love to listen to this a lot because of the ease of listening along with the good principles included. It is written in a fictional style story that can keep you interested. I had my brother-in-law also get this and he also loved it.
"A little disappointed."
I am studying psychology in college right now and was a little disappointed with this one. It mainly gives the writer's own opinion about the psychologists and a brief overview of their life and their work (what they are best known for). Does not give any research results and findings. A good audible.com book I would recommend is "59 Seconds".
"Fantastic for study"
Great listening. I was glad to hear about the actual studies in which they gave even the placebo group results. Also, I am studying psychology in college right now and this really hits the spot of my interest. I can't even begin to tell you the number of times I have referred to the research results as I talked about everyday things to different people.
