"Good Read"
The author deals with common fears that everyone either has dealt with, is dealing with, or will deal with (from not enough money in the bank to death). Because perfect love casts out fear, the author does a great job of drawing people to God's perfect love which removes fear.
Max has a desire to know the depths of God's love. When we love God with all of our heart, there is no room for fear.
"Read it."
This was the first audible book I listened to, and I had nothing to compare it with. It was easy to listen to.
I love how the author relates his point with a story that the listener can identify with.
He did a great job of reading.
"Exellent!"
Refreshing, Insightful, Liberating
John does a great job of communicating Biblical truths that are not dry, irrelevant, or holier than thou. The author is speaking to me, not down to me.
There is no doubt that John is speaking from firsthand experience in this book. In addition, his knowledge as a psychologist helps him relate to people better than theologians.
Do not compare yourself to other people.
"Eh..."
I read this book because it was suggested through another book that I really enjoyed. I listened to about 2/3 of the book and finally stopped listening. It is a great book if you do not believe in absolute truth and that everything is relative.
It is not wise to imply that by changing the definition of words to mean what I want them to mean will make me happy.
No.
The author read his own book. There is not much you could do to change what the author wanted to communicate.
