Tyler seems to be very honest and humble -- I enjoyed listening to his perspective.
i don't know, coming from the "west" it does seem like death is hidden from our culture.. i mean logically i do understand the concept that we are all going to die but that is about as far as I think most people i know address the concept.. however in other cultures they seem to embrace and recognize death more adeptly in their ordinary lives.. so "death" isn't the most happy topic and thus i didn't see why getting exposed to it would be of any value but this book did really connect me with the concept and rather than it being a bad thing to be aware of, it should me actually how it was a good thing and we can benefit from embracing the concept to live our lives a more fuller way..
I really enjoyed the book. It gave me a greater appreciation not only for Steve Jobs but also the importance of making technology work easily in our daily lives.
