    Man, I hope the rest of the trilogy is as good as this book - Glasslands deserves to be recognised beyond the world of franchise fiction as a damn good sci fi novel in itself - multi-layered, considered, brooding - its got a lot of personality for a novel based on a video game.

    Also - please keep Euan on this gig - his reading captures the whole thing perfectly.
