Cara Summers has done it again! "Secrets" was such a good romance with lots of suspense. If you have read or listened to "When She Was Bad", you will enjoy this, as this is an inter-connecting story. The chemistry between the male and female lead was awesome and the story line was really interesting. For those who like romance and suspense - this is the perfect read.
I absolutely love the Archangel series. However, I wasn't all that interested in the 2 main character's story line. I preferred catching up with Raphael, Elena and the 7 much more. Even though the story was written well, I just kept wanting to FF through the other parts.
Ash and Janvier just didn't do it for me. With that said - I'm still a big fan of the series.
I enjoyed this final chapter in the Crossfire series. While Gideon and Ava are still struggling, they do determine that they are stronger together than apart. I loved the male/female narraration (I wished the others were done that way). There was good perspective from Gideon's point of view. The storyline did keep me interested and made me remember why I loved these 2 characters. Thanks to the author for wrapping up all the loose ends and giving us a definite ending.
I'm so excited that this series is on audible. This title is the 3rd book in the series and focuses on detective Mitch Lawson. If you haven't read the previous titles, it's okay, but of course it flows better if you have.
As always Kristen Ashley has given us a well rounded hero and heroine with a juicy plot, sub-characters and hilarious dialogue! I found myself LOL most of the time. I don't want to give away the story, but there's a whole lot of action, and romance that lead to the HEA..and what fun it was! Is this worth a credit? Definitely!
This audio is my new fave romance! I've already listened to it twice and could go another round if need be. The female lead (and all of her friends) are absolutely hilarious. The male lead (and his boys) are all ALPHA's and hilarious as well. The story was very well written with lots of secondary characters to have spin off books. The romance was A + and I felt like I was on this emotional roller coaster with them! Download now - you won't be disappointed!
Ok, first let me say that I have been sitting on this audio and the 2 before it for over 2 years. I had so many books to listen to and they got lost in the shuffle. With that said, I am IN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES! This book however was a really complex read and I loved the way the author goes out of her way to give you background on each and every character. The main character in this book (Z) was so easy to love, as life has been difficult for him. It was interesting to see the revelation of his feelings for his brothers, as well as Bella.
I'm so hooked now, that I am on to the next audio....
XE Sands is a great story teller. She brings Ms. Franks characters to life.
This story was indeed amazing. 2 formidable characters who were at odds came together. The love story was great.
the heart and soul of the warriors.
Yes, when Bella was attacked and how Gideon and Lena worked together to save her.
Great book...looking forward to reading the next one!
noble, strong, loyal
As this is the first book in the series, what I liked most is the creation of this Nightwalker world. All of the characters were interesting.
Brenda Jackson has done it again! Her sense of romance, passion and tenderness is spread throughout the story. The storyline was very interesting and the romance only made it better. This is one of the author's better books and you will enjoy it!
I waited as long as I could to purchase this one due to the narrarator. I only purchased for the story, but the guy reading is simply awful. He also reads 3 other dark books which I refuse to purchase. For those who follow the series, this book is good as it gives you insight into all the past Carpathians' lives. But, I can't say enough about how terrible the narrarator is.
As I listen to all of this series on audible vs. reading the actual book, I wasn't totally happy with this one. I did like getting all the additional information that wasn't in the original release, but the narrarator wasn't as good as the first one. As many of you know, the narraration makes book all the more enjoyable. With that said, the book was good (with lots of information), but could have been better with another narrarator.
