Centuries in the past, mankind fought a seemingly unbeatable adversary from sector to sector across the Spiral Arm until the war ground to a standstill and the Enemy withdrew. Believing that they had won, the citizens of the galaxy rebuilt. The Inner Worlds, which had escaped the worst of the war's ravages, became even more insular, while the Rim worlds adopted a free and easy way with law and order. Now, hundreds of years after their withdrawal, the Enemy is back - and this time they'll be satisfied with nothing less than the extinction of the galaxy.

Shawn says: "A good introduction to Lianden"
"A epic analogy of the worlds condition."

What made the experience of listening to Crystal Soldier the most enjoyable?

In made me a fan of Jella, the soldier that keep on-mission with-standing the condition of those that had lost hope in that war and felt it there duty to destroy, what hope that they were shown.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Crystal Soldier?

When contra was returning from her mission, to rescue the scholar, and her memory became like broken shards of glass, effecting her physical experience.

Which character – as performed by Kevin T. Collins – was your favorite?

    Contra

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When the rescuer fell. Jumping out of the hatch of shuttle craft onto the dead sea bed.

    Any additional comments?

A epic analogy of the worlds condition.
